Easy to set up especially in a smaller media room where the distance to the screen is shorter.

I am very happy with this projector. It has made a very bad tv location into an amazing mini movie theater. I have no complaints about it.

Great Picture...But

This projector has a great picture, but I have had nothing but issues with this thing. I install home theaters for a living and am well versed in projectors. My company did not sell these but I was impressed when I saw the picture quality at a Customer's house. So, I bought this because of the price, the picture and the estimated life expectancy of the bulb. I calibrated my projector using CalMan software and for some reason I could not get the adjustments to stay saved once the unit was powered off. The C.M.S. will save the adjustments, but not the White Balance. After doing some research, I read from many web sources and even home theater magazines that this projector is known for calibration issues. I let is slide, because there is more to life than stressing about the little things. But, after 8 months of having it and less than 1,000 hrs on it, it just died. I called the manufacturer and tried all remedies that they suggested, but since I bought through Amazon, the warranty ended at 6months. So it is not covered now. Most projectors have a door that will open so you can perform the routine filter cleaning, but this projector has to be completely taken apart to get to the filter. I should have bought the Optima HD20..... Way better projector! Oh, also the projector has no patience when changing channels. I you have DirecTv or Time Warner, you are prob familiar with that brief lag when you change the channels....well, while the receiver is adjusting the resolution according to the station, the projector senses a disconnect for that split second and then moves right on to the next input... ex: from hdmi 1 to hdmi 2. So next thing you know, your receiver has accepted the signal and you now get audio, but you have no picture until the projector cycles through all of it's inputs. Which is a huge hassle if you have a universal remote. You either have to keep the factory remote by your side every time you change channels, or program that particular input button on your harmony remote.
