I have a 25 inch monitor that worked well with my laptop. As my workload got complicated with expanding teams and constant content/context switching, I needed either another screen which would take up my whole desk or get a bigger screen at my remote office.
The ViewSonic '32 inch provided the right size. I was hesitant at first because '32 inches was outside the scope/range for a Full HD ("FHD") capacity laptop. (Articles stated '27 is the maximum screen size for a Full HD [1920px/1020px).Yet, many reviews here & online touted the clarity.)
After reviewing other smaller ones, I took a leap of faith - hassle if chosen I was wrong. One of the best decisions made.
Quality:
- Crisp, clear & full of color, No flickering. When turning on the screen, the birds show up as preview what you will see in vibrant colors.
Size:
- Fits a normal desk size. '28 inches across, 21 inches high.
Viewing Format:
- I split my work into 2-3 windows (see Images) so I don't constantly click from one tab/window to another. I can just make one larger if need to focus on one item.
- Caveat, I don't do full '32 viewing docs because peripheral vision can't take it in while seating behind the desk, but for videos, graphic editing, or just watching videos, it 's great for that. (I prop my feet up on the desk while being a distance from the screen to watch movies.) Also, I reduce the browser to 75-80% (zoom feature) when I have 2-3 windows side by side
Setup:
- Easy plug & play as long you set up your desktop/laptop as a second screen
Buttons:
- So much easier to have them on front bottom right than where most are in the back when adjust the color, tones, viewing setup. And, it so much easier to adjust or customize how you want it to look.
Sound:
- The is good, but you can download or use your computer audio panel.
- I always use 3rd party speaker because, again, you can make adjustments to your liking.
Cons: maybe the speaker, but not consequential or any buyer's remorse.
After all that, no buyer's remorse here.

Fantastic monitor! I use the monitor primarily for email, spreadsheets, word processing and some video viewing. Not really for any heavy graphics work but it is amazingly good for the $160!

This monitor is an excellent value for anyone wanting a large but not to large screen for their home office. Well made and sturdy construction made this the perfect choice for my small home workspace.

I love, love, love this monitor. The colors are so crisp and vivid. I am so happy that I made this purchase. Also, I recommend this monitor to everyone who wants to purchase a new monitor.

Seems a satisfactory low-end choice, shipped direct from mfr. No remote is the one drawback, and all-in-ones so far strike out. Looks like we'll be getting up and down a lot to adjust volume and power on, but Roku works well. I didn't expect much at the price, and this monitor exceeds my hopes

I bought two of these. One works well. The other had a big blue pressure spot spot at the top middle of the screen when diaplaying black backgrounds. However, the exact same thing happened when i ordered two $99 Acer 27.” Weird
