The product I recieved has nothing to do with the photo it is shown in the description. I'm sad and angry because I purchased this item to then be shipped to Chile where I live, so there is nothing I can do now. Money wasted. I didn't get the slipcover version as the photo shows, just the flat blue case :(

This was the only season of "Vikings" I had left to purchase to complete my entire set of every season. I really like this series especially the costumes, sets and ships. The actors are great, too, especially Travis Fimmel. I did watch all seasons live on the History channel but I do like to own all the seasons on DVD as well.

This series gets better and better. Just ordered season 4, doing them slowly so I can get other things done.

This is a really great show I would recommend it to anyone that is into Viking culture.

A decent set of a waning series that started out stronger and more accurate to the subject mater but slid down the path of soap opera too quickly. The pandering to viewers is a bit shameful.

i have been watching the show for 3 seasons and it is one of my favorite show on tv. Ragnar leads his band of Norse warriors along with his brother Rollo- son Bjorn- and his first wive - Lagertha or Earl "inkstat" Great Action scenes. interesting plot twists and turns. hopefully The history channel will continue with the show for a few more seasons. the bluray contains both the original and extended versions of all 10 episodes. Great Outer packaging if you are one of the fortunate ones to have gotten the bluray/dvd when it first came out. Not many are still left in the store. season 1 & 2 also came with a outer slipcover case. this season ended on a cliffhanger- i will not give away any spoilers if you havent watched the first two seasons. give it a try- buy a copy on dvd or bluray. im sure the History ch will have a marathon on sooner or later

Must have to anyone’s collection. Pure satifaction

3 years ago I was flabbergasted that the History Channel had original programming. From the first visage of the intro I was hooked. Really complex stories and great casting has made this one of my favorite shows on TV. I recommend this series to everyone I know and anyone where it comes up in conversation. Now series is violent and is not intended for children, other than that, everyone should be watching this!

My wife and I are currently watching Season 4 of Vikings, and are saying that it is better than the most recent season of Game of Thrones. if you like multiple plot lines with surprising twists and turns, a bit of violence mixed with romance, and some great acting, this show is for you. Best of all, the Vikings series is even (loosely) based on history, which makes it that much better.

I love the "Viking" series because although not vey historically accurate, specially on the wardrobe, it is in some aspects. The "Normans" or "North Men" conquered a big part of Europe, and we can still see their influence on many places including Brittany in France. Ragnar is not a real person, but it is believed that he is the reconstruction of many Viking leaders and Viking myths. The series is excellent!

This is a show that keeps getting better with each season, so it's a rewarding viewing experience. Gritty and violent, it has the feel of a documentary, with subdued, washed out color, giving you the appropriate gloomy atmosphere. As it was filmed in Ireland, we know the colors are a lot brighter, but post production gives us a bleaker landscape.

I've had the first two seasons for sometime and was hoping to see season 3 available soon. I didn't think I'd find it so well priced! Like the first two seasons there are many twists and turns as Ragnar & Company make Viking history from Wessex to Paris this time. We meet some new characters and lose some old ones and it's all good!

Ragnar and his band of Vikings are at it again and I love every minute of it. History channel really has outdone themselves with the production value and cast on the show its a must watch! Also the packaging for each season has had a special touch on the slipcover that has made each unique. I highly recommend it!

Dad is more of a reality watcher (since that seems to be the only thing on TV on anymore where you don't have to religiously follow every episode). Started my dad on Season 2 in early November. We watched all of Season 2 and most of Season 3 in just 5 days! He loved it! Got him each season for Christmas!

Season three brings us the sack of Paris. What a clash of cultures. The Christians vs Pagans. The Europeans had not an inkling of how to handle the warrior culture of the Vikings. History Channel gives us an excellent production that keeps you riveted to the screen.

This is a great series and this season continues that trend. The characters evolve, it's not predictable, even if you know the history, and the story is filled with interesting plot twists and the restless energy and pacing of the Viking saga.

I was hesitant to get into this series, but I did it to appease my husband. Well, I am glad I did. I LOVE Game of Thrones and this series is nearly as good with an intriguing story line and intense scenes. This season has got to be my favorite so far.
