Love this show and watching on a 4K was great !!!!!

I'm buying a lot of TV shows for my personal library, usually waiting until they go on sale. I know I could be streaming most if not all of the shows I like, but I'm part of an older generation who liked to collect books, music and movies, and have them around. It may not be the best investment, or no investment at all, but if the price is right...VIKINGS is still a very good show in my opinion, even though it has lost some steam recently, hopefully the next season would come up with new developments. My rating has nothing to do with the show, it's for Best Buy having some great offers on entire seasons of many TV shows, past and present.

After the ending of this season I just dont know. His sons as of now fight and argue all the time.

Often I wonder what would happen if we went back to a political structure more like what we see here in Season 4 of Vikings. Where disagreements could be settled with the purity of a mallet piercing through the brain matter of your foe. Instead of long political discussions, we could have much more successful dialogues, like ripping a man's arms off if we disagree with them and then taking their land and property. Those were simpler times; dare I even say better times. Vote Ragnar 2020

Great setting and locations. Actors are great story and show are exciting.

What can I say it's the Vikings. I didn't really get into it right away, but once I did I felt the need to catch up. Over time I was able to get all seasons leading to this 1st half of season 4. The series really draws you into the world of the vikings, it's a series I can watch more than once and look forward to the next season.

This volume 2 to the 4th season of Vikings is my favorite of the entire series. Ragnar goes in an unexpected direction in a spectacular way. The sons of Ragnar, especially his handicapped one by 2nd wife Aslaug, emerge as important characters. Lagertha again gains attention. There's plenty of violence and battle scenes, but there are also philosophical discussions about religions and gods and being a believer.

What an amazing journey for Ragnar. If you know history you know how he died and the show was quite accurate on that score. It was like The Passion of Ragnar because the torments never seemed to end. But his death brought two things--the second Viking Invasion of England, and the rise of Alfred from priest to Alfred the Great, the most powerful king England has yet seen. Can NOT wait for the next season.

While a little disjointed, this season brings us the death of many favorite characters (or not) and introductions of new ones. With Ragnar and Ecbert gone, one can only guess where the storyline will take us next. I wanted so badly for that miscreant Ivar to bite the dust, but no such luck! And what about Floki? The series continues to keep this viewer intrigued.

Having seen the 2nd half of season 4 during it's run didn't stop me from getting this on release day. I am enjoying getting refreshed on the series at my leisure and am looking forward to season 5 to start in late November. Vikings draws you into a world as it may have been hundreds of years ago. If you like history Vikings is worth adding to your library.

Love this series. Very well acted and the storylines, based at least partly on actual events, are interesting and fast paced. It will make you want to learn more about Viking culture and the people upon which this series is based.

This Season did a job on my senses again!!! As with all other "passed" seasons...the story line explodes with more fresh plots & pleasures in every episode. I was in SHOCK to experience that bloody boat battle and witness the breath of many characters ,I've come to enjoy, expire! Can hardly wait for Vol.2.....!!!

The writing and acting in the entire Vikings' series is excellent. There are numerous scenes of intense battles, plotting, back stabbing and other interpersonal relations. Encompassed by viking legend and lore, the various struggles to survive and gain power are very interesting.

I been watching Vikings since season one and the show does not disappoint. As the seasons pass you witness the characters grow over time and favorite dying. It's like Game of Thrones except without the whitewalkers and the weirdness of the brothers and sisters relationships lol

Despite losing some major characters this season, the show transitions perfectly to a new generation of characters at least as interesting & engaging as the original stars. This second half of season 4 really makes you look forward to wherever the show will take us next
