Perhaps The Kinks' best album, "Village Green" captures all of Ray Davies thematic concerns on one stunning album.
This edition includes two LPs (stereo and mono versions of the album both remastered), a trio of singles as well as five CDs with outtakes, alternate mixes, remasters of the albums proper.
The design is handsome if overly cumbersome.
