I finally bought a replacement remote for my Samsung 72 inch DU7200 television. The original remote was a problem from the beginning. The television would just randomly not respond to the remote and so I would all too frequently be left with the choice of either watching something I had no interest in or turning off the t.v. For some reason the remote had a very effective power button despite the rest of it not working.
When I checked reviews again for the tv, I noticed a large number of people had complained about the lack of responsiveness with the remote. It must be a manufacturing defect. So I finally caved and bought this replacement remote, and it works all the time every time. Zero problems, issues, or complaints. I just wish I had purchased it sooner. We just put up with the janky original remote for a year. I was afraid the problem could persist with a replacement remote - that the issue was maybe the tv and not the remote. But this remote always works without exception. I love my television. The tv itself is amazing. Now I get to also love my fully functional remote.
