I did so much research. Best Buys' customer services was a great help. But even after I purchased my wine cellar I was a little leery; that's until I received it. There was not a single dent/scratch when I opened my shipment. It looks great. Works great and most of all is quiet. A great birthday gift for my husband. He loves it and can't stop talking about it; especially when he entertains his friends. He especially likes that white or red wine can be stored at the right temperature. Great for the value. No complaints. No regrets. Hint, hint this will also be a great father's day gift.

The perfect cooler for your private stock! Fits the decor very nicely! Straight out of the box and on the counter in no time at all. Setting the temperature was easy and knowing your wine will be chilled within an hour is also great! The LED display makes this a great cooler, you always know the exact temperature of your inventory. also, the removable shelves is great for the larger magnum bottles. Best Buy's price makes this cooler a Best Buy. Pun intended...enjoy your wine at the exact temp!

This cooler is absolutely beautiful. It's quiet. The blue light gives it a very nice glow. The bottles are kept at the right temperature. The only downside, as with all coolers, you have to be careful with the size of bottles. It doesn't fit all sizes. Since wine bottles come in different sizes....it will fit long ones and a regular sized one. It doesn't hold the fat bottles. Which is fine by me. I researched and shopped until I found one I like and this one is beautiful. I only wish that they made the exact same model that hold more. It looks beautiful in my kitchen......!!!

I purchased this realizing that it was not the most expensive, but was impressed by the touch display and overall visual appeal of the unit. The initial cool down was awful (as everyone else who has reviewed will confirm) and it seemed okay for a period of time. After about 2 months (they only give you 3 months worth of warranty) the unit began to run and run at full power to maintain temperature. Then things went worse and it was unable to maintain a temperature and would actully warm up while the unit was running. I placed a thermometer and actually noticed the temperature reading on the display was incorrect. I unplugged and allowed it to reset itself overnight. That problem has not recurred, but despite being 72 ambient in the house, it cannot hold 55 degrees without running at full power 24/7. After several attempts at contacting Vinotemp customer service, I was told 'thats what this does, it runs and runs'. After explaining that I am well aware of how a thermoelectric cooling system works, he told me to find a repair man and that thermoelectic units can be backed by Vinotemp for 90 days (hence the warranty). This is quite embarassing and I hope any potential buyer thinks very hard about purchasing this before they ruin their wine and throw $100 dollars at something to look pretty and draw power from your outlet.

I bought this after searching and reading various reviews. It was on-sale at my local Best Buy and looked impressive. The unit looks fantastic in my dining room and the blue LED lighting is great looking at night.
My only complaint was the amount of time it took to cool initially, but after that, it runs at a minimum. Recommended!

GREAT CIGAR HUMIDOR

I bought two of these Vinotemps at Bestbuy and they have been great! I put my cigar-filled spanish cedar trays on the racks inside. This unit does not dehumidify because it lacks the condenser and evaporator that is used in normal refrigeration. Because of this your cigars can stay humidified with very minimal maintenance needed once your humidity level is up. I had one of the Vinotemps hold their humidity at 70 percent for a week straight after I removed my beads and crystals. I am glad I bought two of them and the price at the time was $89.99 each. Be sure to leave these units out in the open and leave the backs and sides unobstructed. I think it needs plenty of ventilation to prevent problems that other reviews have addressed. Very Happy with purchases.

This is the only wine fridge that's under $100. It has a very sleek design with touchscreen controls. It is nice and compact. Unfortunately, when filled to half capacity (6 bottles), it took about 24 hours to reach desired temperature (from 76F to 55F), so it is quite slow.

This cooler looks nice and you only hear a quiet fan running - it's much more quiet than most computers.
I bought it yesterday. After 4 hours, it had cooled from room temperature (79 degrees) to 72 degrees. After 12 hours, it had gotten down to 65 degrees. I checked the built-in thermometer with my own and it's accurate. It briefly hit 64 degrees an hour later before going back up to 65. I'm giving it a bad rating because I don't think this is acceptable. It does not appear to be capable of reaching wine storage temperature. Guess mine is a lemon.

Was so excited to receive this as a Christmas Gift. Took a month for me to find the right place for it and to be sure that it was on a level surface. After 2 months I found lots of water in the bottom of the unit. This has happened 3 x where condensation has bult up inside. Nothing about this is in the operating handbook. After 6 months the LED unit started flickering and shortly thereafter the motor began making lots of noise. Of couse it then ceased working. Warranty over so I am out of luck and shopping for a new one. Unfortunately Vino Temp is the only brand I can find without paying over $500.

I gave the Vinotemp 12-bottle cellar to my wife for Xmas and she absolutely loves it. It is a very stylish appliance that fits nicely in our modern kitchen. I did a lot of research before making this purchase and have a high degree of confidence in the Vinotemp brand (I also own a very expensive large Vinotemp wine cellar and love it also).
You cannot beat the price of this great little cellar.

Easy set up right out of the box, small and compact and doesn't take up a lot of room like our previous one did....great controls allow you to specifically set the temperature to celsius/fahrenheit degrees rather than just cooler/warmer.

At first I was really excited about the purchase of this fridge. It looked great, was a great value and was working well at first. When I originally purchased it I found nothing but good reviews. That has all drastically changed. 1 month after my original purchase I discovered a puddle of water in the bottom of the fridge. It ruined the label on one of my prized bottles that I can no longer find anywhere. I quickly exchnged that fridge for another thinking that it's a simple malfunction. Now, No more than 3 months after having the replacement, it started having trouble keeping a steady temperature and it's having the leaking/condensation trouble again. I pray that none of my "priceless" wines have been ruined by this horrble fridge. As soon as I find suitable storage for my wine I'm taking this fridge back and not thinking twice about it. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND WORRY AND DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

I spent considerable time researching 12-bottle wine 'cellars' online before deciding on this model. I was at first concerned that 50-degrees F is the lowest temperature it can reach (most can chill to 45 or colder). But then I discovered that - aside from sparkling wines which I loathe - most reds and whites store perfectly at 55 degrees. Once it reached that setting, it has never waivered. The black glass door assures protection from damaging light rays while the smooth, vibration-free operation is blissfully quiet. For my purposes, there was no need to chill any colder or to pay extra for a dual-zone model. The Vinotemp I-Cellar was made for me. And - how sexy are those blue lights? Wow!

Bought this as a gift for my husband. Very happy with it. I did a lot of research before buying and this one seemed to be the best value for what I was looking for. It fit perfectly in the corner of our dining room. Love it!
