First off, I purchased this cooler online, but the sparse packaging arrived with a huge hole in the side of the box, which ended up punching all the way through to the fridge inside, leaving a large and noticeable dent on the side of the fridge. Best Buy resolved this issue amicably, and I decided to keep it in return for a refund credit for a portion of the purchase. It seems to hold temperature and humidity well, so the damage seemed to be only cosmetic. I am planning on placing the fridge such that the dent will not be seen. I've converted this fridge in to a cigar humidor as well as a wine cooler. It holds temperature and humidity perfect. The finish of all surfaces is good, although, the fitment is not as great. The door sits slightly crooked, but then again, so does the door on the door on my $3700 kitchen fridge. I suppose I can't expect it to be perfect. Regarding the features, this cooler does feature an LED light on the top of the fridge, but the location seems to make no sense. A shadow is cast on anything below the top most rack that holds anything. The price is a bit high compared to other products on the market, although, many say that the Vinotemp's quality last much longer. For this, I was willing to pay the bit extra.

This is my second unit of the same model number. My first unit was damages by a lightning strike and i loved the product I had so I replaced it with the same. This unit has excellent features and holds a lot of wine. The prices is excellent for the quality of the unit.

Best Buy sent me a unit that was manufactured in 2004, (according to the sticker on the back of the unit) and I made the purchase in 2012, so they must have more than a few of these laying around. I purchased the 4 year extended warrantee, so we'll see if it keeps working. The holes used to mount the handle were drilled by a drunk dude on a Friday. The door has a front metal layer, and a plastic inner layer. The screws that mount the handle must pass through both layers to mount the handle. The screws were at such a bad angle due to the crooked drilling, that they would not go into the handle. I had to re-drill the back holes straight so that the screws could hold the handle on. After that fix, the handle seems to be staying on, and working. So far it's cooling. Makes a little more noise than I thought it would, but isn't annoying.

We have never had any problems with our cooler after owning it for 1.5 years. It was making some funny sounds recently and I checked the air filter and yes, it needed to be cleaned. Then all was well. Only gripe is that some of our bottle of wine are too thick to fit easily between the racks and it tears some labels.
