Beware, it's expensive and then the installment requires more wiring that costs $140 then the installment fees. Close to 700$. Auto start is nice but couldn't get the app on phone to work and link up. It was a pain but hopefully you'll have better luck.

Very good proctuct i like this is the best it save time

The two problems I have with this is we had to purchase an additional part to make it work and even more so of a problem is the car shuts off automatically when you open the door to get in.

Had to return it wasn't a full alarm, and non of the customer service told me this , till the installation day , glad the installer was helpful and got me what I wanted

It seems there was another item that would allow me to use my existing key fob. Had to exchange.

Remote start works great, has good range, everything it is supposed to do. However, I've had problems with the other very important feature. The remote door locks do not work half the time. The truck receives the signal and the lights flash but the doors do not lock or unlock. Some days it works fine but most days I have to listen for the door relays to click to know it locked them. This is very annoying as I cannot trust the remote lock feature at all. Usually, if I want to lock the doors I have to first press unlock, then lock. But even that doesn't always work. I'm so frustrated with this thing. Email to Viper for help went unanswered. Best buy Geek Squad installed so they are my next call. 2005 GMC Sierra 1500.

I got the Viper 4105V 1 way remote start intalled on my wifes car and it works great. But the technician did not put the plastic pannel clips back on! I drove off without knowing I had loose pannels under the front of my car. They started scraping on the freeway making a ton of noise. I had to try an rig it up at night in the rain so that I could get home, the next morning my wife took the car and it got loose and It scared her a lot and made her late for work. I added some zip ties untill I got some clips in the mail from Amazon to secure it on properly. - In summary, go ahead and buy the remote starter. It is excellent. But beware of the fact that the Geek Squad tech who intalls the product might cut some corners or forget something important. This was my first time using BestBuy for installation. I might do so again because of the excellent price but will chat with the technician first so that I don't have to spend a Saturday morning fixing what I paid someone else to do.

The advertisement said it would start the car within a 1/4 mile. Not so much. Maybe within 100 ft, definitely not within a 1/4 mile.

Unreliable remote start system. You get what you pay for.
