Got the basic remote start as that's all I needed. Had mount Vernon store install and Cameron did a excellent job. The product works as it should and the service/install bay was a pleasure to work with. very professional job done. Thank you.

Before my purchase, I was clear about the year, make and model of the vehicle. I was told the cost of the starter and the cost of the kit, and was told that I would NOT need to provide an "extra key" to work around an immobilizer chip in the ignition key. Then when trying to schedule the install, I was told that I WOULD need it (an extra $100+), AND would need to spend the other $100 for the kit. Sorry... $500 for a remote starter?!? No friggin way! Needless to say, I returned the starter. The dealership actually installed one (complete) for less the the price of the Best Buy starter alone. Thanks.

Remote start works as it should with professional installation by Best Buy.

Works great with the exception of the second key fob.

so far this unit works every time. very surprised how far it reaches and what the signal will go through. last week I pressed it while on the 6th floor of a high rise while inside the elevator. Car was running when I arrived.

I had this product only one week before it failed brought it back to the store they reset the brain now it only works sporadically

Love my Viper auto start for my car. Starts up every time

So far this product is living up to expectations. The two way remote is a nice added security and it is great to have remote door locks again after my old one (not Viper) broke. The remote start will be great on cold days.

I did purchase this product and was very excited about it - however there was some GeekSquad installation confusion and by the time that was figured out I did just end up buying a newer car and didn't have to worry about using this product.

This is a solid remote start. You'll need to purchase a module and tilt switch along with this which runs about another $115ish so beware you need more than what comes in the box
