Got this with the 4905S remote starter. When you live in a region where it can get to -70 with windchill, you need this. Got it when it was half off including install. Install was straightforward and easy by Best Buy techs. The 4905S has good range and comes with a 2-way and 1-way controls. It runs for 20 minutes once started. In the winter, I can start my car when leaving for work, or returning from work. For those very cold days you don't want to venture out to start your car, remote start it and have a hot cuppa.

Got this together with the remote starter kit and had them installed together at bestbuy and its been working great.

I love this thing! I live in an apartment and it is 2 stories of steps and another 100 just to get to my vehicle. It is really coming in handy during snow season

I think every vehicle with remote start has to have one of these to prevent accidental starting when someone is working under the hood. So why isn't it included with the remote start kit?

The tilt switch is an additional security layer for your car. This was installed along with an audio receiver and remote start system. The overall installation was done in the originally stipulated time. The guy was knowledgeable and courteous.

It is a part of the starter package. Buy it along with the starter if you don't want to delay the installation. If the installation doesn't need it, you can always return. However, it is 95% of chance that your installation would need it to go through smoothly.

This item came with my Viper remote start install. I won’t argue with the professionals and the Best Buy tech clearly knew what he was doing.

I love the remote starter and alarm that works great in my car

I have never lifted the hood with the alarm on so I'm not sure if this is working or not. But if it works like the rest of my system is working I'm sure it is an excellent deterrent.

Device does something with alarms... best buy tech installed it and think it's working... I have a blinking light that the alarm system is still working so hurray!
