I had this installed for my son. He has a new baby and now he can take his son from a warm house in the winter to warm car. He can take his son from a cool house to a cool car in the summer. He absolutely loves this and highly recommends it.

This came bundled with the remote car starter I purchased and had installed by best buy. Making the install appt was easy and quick despite the busy holiday season. The switch does what it's supposed to do. Happy with the product and the service

Works as it should as a safety feature when a service tech is under the hood so the car can't start when someone is working on it.

This is a Great safety feature for our Remote Start system.

It came as part of a package with the remote start kit. But geek squad never installed it. My wife returned home with the remote starter installed but this part was put back in the box. I don't know why I had to purchase it as part of the kit.

This was installed in the hood of my car and is a great little security feature. When my car has been remote started, this product gives me the peace of mind that it cuts off the power to the car if anybody tries to lift my car's hood for any reason.

Went in looking to buy the same Viper system I had for a previous vehicle and found out it's no longer offered. The Best Buy employee was very helpful in walking me through possible alternatives, and this system is great for the money...

Well I didn’t know this came with my remote start… I guess I’ll find out if it works if my car is ever towed away

I believe I got this part to make sure that the hood wasn't tilted or open to ensure the automatic start work properly great safety product.

I had to purchase this product along with the Viper remote start system in order for the product to work. I was told it helps prevent having the vehicle accidentally start while a mechanic or someone has popped the hood and would be working on the motor or surrounding parts

Ball Bearing Tilt Switch was part of my Compustar - 2-Way Remote Start install on 2003 Toyota four runner, and as I previously stated I am one happy customer cause everything is working excellent.

This product is required for installation and if Geek Squad installs it you never see it. But the starter works great so I give it a good review.
