I put my trust in the Best Buy Geek Squad to know what was needed along with the installment and proper function of the Viper System. I must say it is standing up to what it was designed to do. Voxx Electronics - Ball Bearing Tilt Switch works perfectly for a Jeep compass 2018.

I'm not sure what this looks like or where it was installed but was told it was a required part of the installation of my remote starter. I have not tried to start the car with the hood up but assume it works.

This tilt switch is an essential component of the Viper DS4+ remote car starter. The switch was part of the remote starter package I bought and had installed by the Geek Squad.

Didnt realize I needed this part for my compustar called to make an appointment to install my remote start for my hummer thank God the person told me this got the part right on time for my install.

A tilt switch is vital when looking to have a remote starter installed into your car, make sure you get one that works with your remote starter, and if when selecting a remote starter it isn't compatible with a hood tilt sensor, choose a different remote starter kit that will work with a hood tilt sensor.

A safety item you should have if you have a auto starter on your car. If the hood is open it will not allow the car to start in case someone hits the remote by accident while you are working in the engine compartment.

I purchased an after market remote start kit. This was recommended as part of the installation process. Overall I’ve been pleased with the remote start, especially on cold days.

Safety switch for remote car starter - keeps engine from turning over when hood is open. My old one was a spring mounted switch that never failed, but this one is mounted out of the way, which should add more safety.

Great Alarm & Remote Starter - Great Service Too! This was part of a great alarm system that replaced a dealer installed dud. The Geek Squad did a great job instalking the system and it works great.

This was a critical safety device for the remote starter. I have a remote starter that was installed by a car dealer without one and I have to be careful where my keys are when the hood is up.

I install this item on all my vehicles. It allows for the alarm to be activated if the hood is popped or the trunk is popped. A definite must have. And as most of directed electronic products very high-quality.
