Great value. This is the second Viper remote I've purchased from Best Buy. The first was installed on my previously owned vehicle. I had the Viper remote starter installed on my 2014 Ford F150 pickup . The install was 2 hours quicker than expected. Very pleased with this product.

I had a one way remote starter and would always be paranoid about not knowing if the car started or not. It also had to be like next to the car to start, but this 2way remote starter was definitely what I wanted. The distance was further although definitely not a mile due to interference from everything. I like how it also notifies if the car is locked or unlocked since it beeps after I lock/unlock to indicate status of the lock. This also gives heads up warning before car shuts off if you leave it running too long. Definitely worth it and I had it installed on a Ford Escape 2014.

I bought two of these for my Camry (2014) and a 2012 Civic. Price: the price was good for this model They have been installed about a month ago and working great so far. One of the remote ran out of battery just after 3weeks but Geek squad addressed that issue. The installation with Geek Squad was a good experience. The technician was knowledgeable and knew what he was doing.

I purchased the remote start as a Christmas gift to my husband for his new push button start truck. After scheduling an appointment with the service tech, the vehicle was was dropped off and remote start installed within a couple of hours. We have a range of 1 mile with our remote start. Because the truck will automatic shut off after a preset time, there is no fear of forgetting the vehicle is running. We have no concern of vehicle theft because the remote system will also automatically shut off the motor if any door on the vehicle is opened. It is great to warm up the truck during those sub-zero days. We didn't realize how convenient this makes driving in cold weather. Now that we have this remote start on our truck, our next vehicle will also have remote start.!

I am so happy with this remote start. It gets very cold in Ohio and it's wonderful to be able to start my car from the comfort of my warm home and office. The best part is the one mile range. I haven't tested if it actually works from a mile away, but I know I can start it from my upstairs office to the fairly large parking lot where I park. That works for me and makes me happy!

This starter works really well, and I love that it notifies you when the car starts. NOTE: Don’t be surprised if you have to replace the batteries shortly after installing the device, there is no telling how long the remotes were in the box before we bought the starter, but plan ahead and have spare batteries on hand!

Viper Remote start lives up to its advertising. Integrated well into a 2015 Outback, allowing all the features of the car to be used direct from the new remote - from an insanely long distance away. And the two way functionality works like a charm. Best Buy did a very neat and tidy install, so I am very impressed all around.

I purchased this back in the winter and I am loving it. It has amazing range. All my family members are impressed. I hate the cold weather in winters in Missouri so this makes it a little bit better, knowing I can warm up my car and it's better for the car. Best improvement/investment to my car!

When on sale, this is probably the best remote starter for the money. Range is good and the starter has worked well for me. No complaints

Comes with one 2 way remote and one 1 way remote. Works well, good range, husband very happy!!!

I really enjoy having a remote start system. I have had viper products before and really liked them. This system only comes with one 2-way remote and one 1-way remote. The install was done at best buy as well. However, they were unable to get all of the buttons to work. Not that big of a deal since they are also on the key. Remote start comes in handy when I want to pre heat/cool the car.

every Floridian should have one. so far works great. car is cool when I get there.

For my application (Older Jeep Wrangler with manual door locks) I had this installed for remote start only. It works like a champ and starts from inside even from a good distance away. I have yet to try it from inside a large store to test the range, but it meets my needs to start from in at work and inside the local indoor pool to heat up the Jeep on cold days.

The device came out of the gates working perfectly, used it for a week to keep testing it out, tried to remote start every morning even on warm days. A week into it, when it was a brisk day I tried it again and it just gave me the buzzing error sound that it wasn't communicating. Had to bring it back into the shop and they repaired the devices. Day later after I got it back working again it just stopped mid day again and didn't work on multiple attempts, even sitting in the car. Later on in the evening it started working again. Here is hoping that it stays working in the cold months!

I had to get this model, as the Viper 5301v was being phased out. This model performs exactly the same. The only noticeable difference is the fob. The 5301v had all 5 buttons on the front, with the battery cover easy to lose in the back. On this model 4806v, the function button is on the side, leaving the lock, unlock, start/stop & aux buttons on the front & slightly bigger. As far as I know, this model is being phased out in favor of the Viper DS4VB. If you want a good 2 way remote start that also has keyless entry, go for the Viper DS4VB or the Compustar CsS920s.

Totally recommend this system! I love that it's two-way and the remote let's me know if I locked the Jeep or not. The remote start also works perfectly even if you're quite a distance away. Overall it's a fantastic product/brand.

The best thing about it other than never having issues is the fact that when its 10 degrees outside I can simply start my car from inside while I get ready for work then when I go to leave and get in my car its nice and warm!!!

When it is -20 outside and you have to wake up on a snowy morning and push off to the office, this thing saves you. My Honda civic doesn't have a remote start and geek squad did an excellent job in placing it in my car.

I love my Viper remote start. It's great for warming up the car on those cold winter mornings and cooling it down in the hot summer months. Installation service at Best Buy was EXCELLENT!
