I purchased and had installed the remote start it is the third time we have purchased and installed remote starters for our vehicles from Best Buy. Now that I am using the remote start I am not as happy with this one as the others previously purchased. This one has a safety feature that stops the car when the door is opened and I have to again re-start it. It becomes a pain when having to re-start the car anyway, I am using it less due to the safety feature and wish I had known prior to purchasing and installation.

Good value overall. Wish it would have come with 2 remotes or have the option to upgrade to a 2 way remote, but I did realize I was buying a basic unit. Happy with purchase.

Bought this when it was on sale & glad I did. Performed as stated. Cons: the range isn't great (less than stated). Doesn't like to work at times when your in a house.

I brought this remote starter because it was on sale for black friday and I was tired of coming downstairs from my third floor apt to a cold frozen car. I had to schedule an appt and with it being christmas time i did have to wait about a month to have it installed but it was totally worth it. I took it in, handed the guy the starter and the codes, and 6hrs later it was done with no extra charges on my 2010 nissan altima. I would def recommend this product to anyone. It works from my 3rd floor apt in the back of the complex. I LOVE IT!!!

My sons and I bought this for their mother who works late some evenings and hates cold weather. She can now start her car from her office and have a warm cat when she gets to the car. Happy Wife-Happy Life.

I find it hard to review a product that's only been installed a week but here goes. The product arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The soonest installation appointment was a week out which was OK as long as your not in a hurry. The installer was professional and did a very neat job, even cleaning up some other wires that were loose under the dash. The installer gets 5 stars easy! So far the unit works as stated.

Very good product at the sale price of $199 installed would have given it 5 stars if the range was a little better but does a good job for my needs

Works good, good price, and installation was timely. The manual remote start my husband purchased doesnt work very well tho. Distance is no more than 150-200 ft. And requires direct line of sight. Plus, best buy messed up the scheduling install (wrong date or time) and did not tell me i had to buy a $50 shock sensor so i ended up spending more than i was told with a sub-performing product.

I bought this for my wife's car and am very happy with the installation with Best Buy and the overall product itself. If you are looking for a basic remote starter this is a good unit to purchase.

I bought a remote car starter for my wife for Christmas. had it installed by the GEEK SQUAD, everything went well and unit does what we wanted and more.

I have wanted a remote start kit and when I read about the Viper and Best Buy had it on special, I decided to obtain it. The Geek Squad installed it in about 3 hours and explained the functions. GREAT JOB!!!

It's a very basic starter compared to what I am used to. Unfortunately all the comparable starters like I used to have were way out of my price range.

Checked with my Toyota dealer and my remote start was going to cost me 600.00 dollars. Got it at Best Buy for less than half the price, everyone was professional and courteous. Recommend it to everyone!

We had some trouble with another purchase the printer did not work out. We returned it and purchased the remote start unit. The sales team were so very help and told us which product truly fit our expectations

My only complaint is the installation took WAY too long. This job should not take more than 2 hours to complete. It took slightly more than 4 1/2 hours.

This is the first remote start I've used, but it works the first time, every time, also secures the car. Does just what I bought it for. Clean installation too.

Installers where very knowledgeable and friendly. In and out with no problems and very timely as well. Product was simple and instruction given by Installer were easy to underatand

Viper remote starters have been a very good product in my opinion because we've always had that brand.

Had to stand in line in customer service, FOR AN HOUR,... was promised a huge discount if I waited till they shipped the bad unit back,...and get another one....then make yet another appointment to get it installed...but I didn't get the discount as it was discounted already....sigh....anyway....I accepted it ...it was a gift for my wife and her car.....works great now....
