Of course for the price it good. It gets the job done for the most part.

This was probably one of the best purchases I have every made! Having this device installed on my vehicle is great because I can remotely start it and either have my vehicle cool or warm, depending on the season when I go to enter my vehicle. It also has a great transmission range as well as a safety feature to prevent someone from stealing the vehicle if you leave it running from the remote function!

I had initially gone to Viper's website to be sure the remote start would work on my wife's 2015 Honda Odyssey. The website made no mention of any issues or additional equipment necessary to have it done so I ordered it because it also included the Geek Squad installation. Unfortunately, due to some security system protocols the install could not be performed without performing some questionable "work around." The installer explained the situation and offered to uninstall it so I could return the product. I asked him if he would install it in my other vehicle and he gladly agreed to do so. It works great in my F150 but not in the Odyssey. Also the photo online shows two remotes and the unit I received only had ONE remote.

It's nice to come out to a warmed up car in the winter or a cooled off car in the summer just by a push of a button and leaving your climate control on. This unit makes that happen.

Starts the car on the first try every time. The tech warned me that if it was very cold it may not start on the first try, but haven't run into any issues yet....even in the low teens.

Bought this for my daughter and it's great. Warms her car up and locks the doors. Don't have to worry about someone jumping into her car while she's waiting.

I bought this with installation bundled in. Paid about $70 on the install - was quoted $200 - 300 when I made the appoint. Needless to say glad I had the installation bundle.

I love this car starter I get it on all my cars! I have never had any problems with it. The car shuts off after I believe 15 minutes which is great if you have small children like myself that like to grab the keys. A nice security feature that viper has is if someone were to break into your car while its running with the car starter. The car will shut off the second they hit the breaks to change gears.

Works at a distance even behind pvc fence. Daughter can warm up car while a ways across parking lot. Visual verification of actions on remote is great since we can’t see the car lights flash. This also means she can unlock from a ways away. Much farther than old remote.

Good product, but can only be used to start vehicle. Doesn't control door locks. Also only comes with one controller!

A great remote start! Has a good distance feature that allows starting from 100 feet away. Recommend it for anyone looking this type of product.

Very basic. A bit expensive for what it does: starts the car, that is all. If your car is locked when you use the Viper remote to start it, you have to use your key to unlock it, the car's remote won't work. Or you could shut off the car using the Viper remote, then use your car's remote to unlock it.

I know every car and truck are different. So yes you have to buy some model specified items. So after asking all the right questions I knew the full cost before hand and had no surprises. That seem to be most people complain. The product itself works great. And I'm very happy with it.

Bought this for my mom as Christmas gift. It is simple to use and works great. The installation was done at Best Buy. Installer was great
