Virgin Mobile refused to activate stating that it was not a virgin mobile phone and it was sprint.

Perfect phone, for the working person. Works perfectly and was shipped quick.

Bought this phone for my daughter and she loves it

I bought this phone last week when I walked into Best Buy looking for an unlock iphone. The gentleman showed me this phone and proceeded to tell me that while it was locked to Virgin Mobile, but they were with Sprint so I could just go to any Sprint and get it unlocked immediately, no questions asked, told me it was a new law. Unfortunately this was not the case, Sprint store and customer service over the phone told me I would have to go through Virgin Mobile. Virgin Mobile's CS over the phone was great but unfortunately told me I would need to have it activated for a minimum of 12 months and the guy at Best Buy was wrong. So I unfortunately now could not use the phone as I was not interested in moving to VM. BUT this is a product review so aside from that, I have given this 5 stars because it was in near perfect condition, I mean I can't find a single scratch on it without really having to look for it. It was packaged well and came with original apple lightning cable and charger wall block. So if you have Virgin Mobile or want to switch, this is definitely a great phone to get and I would highly recommend grabbing the certified pre owned ones they have at Best Buy.

I purchased 2 of these phones after looking for weeks for a decent replacement phone for my daughter for Virgin Mobile. Love virgin mobile , great service, very reasonable monthly price and didn't want to switch carriers but could not find any Virgin mobile phones locally. So when I finally found Apple 6 i decided I better buy one for myself as well. It was a little more expensive than I wanted spend but worth it to me to have a MUCH smaller monthly bill. I ordered them on line w/ in store pick up. The pickup was delayed by one day but not a big deal. When I went to the store the packaging the phones came in did not have a bar code for the employee to scan since it was preowned and not in original packaging. Took about 20 minutes after checking w/ other employees and calling around but finally we were on our way. I know the virgin mobile phones can be activated online but I have had great success with just calling their customer service. The phone did say Sprint when I first turned it on and I thought that may be a problem but nope. The Virgin Mobile customer service rep walked me through activating both phones in about 10 minutes total. This is my first IPhone and it's very easy to learn. But there's probably way more that it can do that I don't even know about. We've had the phones for over a month now and they both work fantastic. Very happy with the purchase.

The previous reviews scared me but I decided to take a chance anyway and order this phone online. My local best buy didn't have it stock but I do recommend going to your local best buy if it has it just to take a good look at it before you buy it. When i received this phone in the mail the box looked brain new and so does the phone! No scratches or anything and it's running smooth! I love it! Inside the box was the phone and a charger all wrapped up nicely. I also didn't have a problem activating it. I went to the Virgin mobile website and activated it there. Also you will need the the IMEI/MEID code to activate the phone and you can find that by going to the settings. Just google" MEID code for iphone 6". I really recommend this phone to anyone on the virgin mobile line who wants an iphone 6!

I purchased this pre-owned Virgin Mobile IPhone 6 online and picked it up in the store. After reading other reviews, I examined the phone before I left the store. Phone was in perfect condition! I activated it the next day and it took approximately 10 minutes. The phone is working perfectly and I am very pleased with the whole transaction. The phone did say Sprint when I turned it on, but Virgin asked for the MEID to activate and I had no problems.

I purchased this phone and received it yesterday and honestly looks brand new. Not a single sign of being used whatsoever. Activation was easy and the price was great. Previously had the 5s but would lag from time to time. Great buy as a virgin mobile customer.

This phone has some bad reviews and not to discredit those people but my phone looks brand new. I did however record myself opening the box just in case and i should note that this was a sprint phone but it's not a problem for virgin mobile to flash the phone over. Also small note my phone did come loaded with IOS 9 so that was great.

Love this phone (I've had an Iphone 4S up until now)! It was a very easy activation process, the item came super nice and new, and I'm looking forward to using it!

Tried to activate online but got an error about icloud locked. Remembered reading a similar review online. I called virgin mobile told them that I bought the phone from best buy and was told to call to get an over ride if I could not activate it online. She kept asking me if the phone was a virgin mobile phone and I just kept saying I bought it with the best buy plan to activate on virgin mobile. She asked for two different numbers which I gave her (meid # and some other #). She then had me dial a certain code and press call. It worked and the phone was activated. So happy !!!

Bought for a friend as a birthday gift. She was pleased and thrilled! The phone came perfect - no scratches anywhere! Glad I purchased at BB vs. Vxrgxn Mobile. They wanted $50 more and it was only in the space gray color.

I bought two reconditioned iphone 5 phones and had difficulty activating them because of problems with Virgin Mobile. They must have figured it out with the iphone 6 because I activated it on line with no fuss. I purchased the phone on line Sunday night and picked it up Monday morning. The phone looks brand new and so far everything works! Terrific value and the folks in the Pentagon City Best Buy Store were great! Don't hesitate to buy this phone

ordered phone in novemeber, side button not working every time, battery issues, screen lifting from case. returned for credit and bought another, so far so good.

Before I begin, I did read all the reviews and was a little bit hesitant but I knew Best Buy had my back and yours... Ordered a Iphone 6 preowned and it has been a great purchase. No issues with the Phone itself, very good shape , no blemishes etc. Called Virgin Mobile twice to activate ( switch from a Iphone 4s) and it was all fairly easily accomplished. Never had to go back to the store. If you have problems activating , call Virgin Mobile back and try again. we did and it all worked out.

We had a bad experience with a "certified refurbished" iPhone 6 Gold for Virgin Mobile. After 3 weeks of careful ownership, the camera lens fell off. No damage, just came loose and popped out. I took it back to BB and they said "sorry, take it to the Apple Store" since I was beyond the 15 day return limit. At the Apple Store, the Genius Bar said the iPhone lenses never just fall out and they noticed other oddities about the phone. He took it into the back and their phone expert came out and said that we had a "Frankenstein iPhone" --a non-Apple certified iPhone rebuilt from counterfeit or defective parts. The tell-tale signs were not only the poor fit of the lens that fell out, but he showed us several defects in the fit of the body panels and also the headphone/power jacks that were not flush with the phone body. They wouldn't service the iPhone but they did print up a report that stated that the phone contained non-certified parts and that Apple will not service it. They said take it back to BB and show them the problems and the report. We took it back to BB to explain this problem and BB did refund our purchase price without much hassle. So, buyer beware of "certified refurbished" iPhones of unknown origin --Apple will not service them unless they were originally refurbished by Apple. Virgin Mobile "certified refurbished" labeling implies genuine Apple product but it is not. In reality, they probably buy remanufactured iPhones in bulk from third party vendors who repair damaged phones from spare parts of unknown origin. Buyer beware - Apple will not help you with these phones!

I purchased this phone of January 12 and received it on January 16. The phone was visually in perfect condition for something pre-owned. (no scratches, scuff marks etc..) Then the phone started to have periods were it would freeze up. I could not deal with it after 2 days and returned it today. I hope the next one doesn't have the same issue. Best of luck!

Not a scratch on this phone, functions great! Took less than 10 minutes to activate on Virgin Website. This phone was/ is in excellent condition.

checked it out in store after picking up, no signs of use, did say sprint. made sure buttons worked and both cameras worked. activated on web site, waited ten minutes and rebooted the phone and it then said activated.
