After several attempts of trying to purchase a new iPhone on the Virgin Mobile website, I found this iPhone 6 on the Best Buy website. I was ecstatic. I had previously bought a refurbished iPod that was great so I had no qualms about purchasing a refurbished phone. So I ordered the phone and picked a store 120 miles away because they were the closest store that had them in stock. I picked it up, brought it home, pulled it out of the box and started to set it up. That's when I discovered the 1/4" crack on the face of the phone and scrape marks on the back. That was not the definition of refurbished I had expected. I immediately returned the phone to the local Best Buy. During the return the technician could not believe the condition of the phone. I don't blame Best Buy. I blame the company that is doing the refurbishing process.

BEWARE - Despite Product Description, NO WARRANTY

After 6 months of usage, cameras don't work (random colors or just all black), iphone shuts down randomly and overheats. Only had it for 6 months but Best Buy, Virgin Mobile and Apple won't help--each claims one of the other companies is responsible. Purchased December 2015. Best Buy in-store employees claim warranty was only 45 days, Apple says warranty "expired in 2015," and Virgin Mobile support stated that warranty ended 6/1/2016. I don't think that it's unreasonable to expect more than 6 months from a device that cost $400 or for one of these 3 companies to honor the warranty that was advertised at the time of purchase and remains in the product description to this day--"Virgin Mobile CPO iPhone warranty covers mechanical/electrical failures for up to 1 year from date of purchase. The phone I received was more than preowned it was beat up. When I tried to activate it I spent more than two hours on the phone and still couldn't activate the phone. I returned it to Best Buy and was happy to see it gone!

I purchased this phone for my daughter's bday. When activating it showed that it is actually a Sprint phone not Virgin Mobile. I am returning it.
