The only good things about this phone is the price and the screen size. Other than that this phone is CRAP! Don't buy this phone.

This phone was difficult to use and very slow i wouldn't recommend it!

The phone itself is extremely nice for what you pay. The 6" 1080P screen is large and sharp. There's occasionally a lag to some action on chrome such as going back a page or typing. Like a microstutter. Overall I love it though. Comes with 7.1.1 right out of the box. The reason I deduct a star though is for service. I ordered from bestbuy.com with 1 day shipping. Great service and all went well until the phone wouldn't activate. Virgin couldn't do it because, according to a supervisor, "it's has to be scanned by best buy. We can't put their scan in the system. The whole reason I order and with expedited shipping was to avoid the store. Had to go in and have them activate it. Would rather have bought it their in that case. ASM said never seen it before but beware. May end up going to best buy anyway

Bought this phone a few months ago. After 1 month, some texts were not coming through. Problem got worse and worse. Now maybe receiving 10% of texts being sent to me. Very little memory on this phone. Have to constantly delete text threads and pics. Bought an SD card but still problems with memory due to so many useless apps already pre installed, only able to force stop some, not able to uninstall any. Video play back will turn completely black screen. Now phone randomly freezes. Going back to a Samsung! Reviews on this site were very good, after problems, I researched other than here and found other users having same issues. Would be nice if people would review after using the phone for more than a month.

1. I get upwards of 30 identical text messages in a row. 2. I don't receive messages people have sent. 3. Can only move a few apps to SD card. 4. Limited space = Spotify will not work anymore, even after clearing the cache on all apps and deleting unnecessary apps. 5. Now my video recorder won't work, probably for the same reason. 6. I'm convinced this phone is the reason I couldn't get highway patrol on the line to come help me get my car off the road. 7. Alarm clock works sporadically. I've checked it multiple times. Set it to go off in one minute and it just doesn't. I've been late to work 4 times since getting this phone and finally had to just get a basic digital one. I got this phone in October 2017 so it's not even a year old. Time for a new one.

I bought an incredible deal! Needed to replace my LG X Charge(which are junk) & found the ZTE max xl has similar specs & better screen resolution than the LG at a much lower price! & a bigger screen! I just so happened to walk in on the right day when the price was "you'd be a fool not to buy it"! Imagine getting the ZTE & a 32mb micro card for under 50$. SHOCKING! I know I got the deal of the day!

No complaints and has all the features of the galaxy s8. Looks similar too but bigger. Glad I went with this phone.

This is by far the worst phone I've ever had. I bought it around Thanksgiving 2017, and now in April the touch screen barely works. The apps won't scroll and it takes forever to open anything, including the phone. I won't ever purchase a ZTE phone again.
