The most complex fighter you will ever play

This game is the most complex fighting game you will ever play. It is also one of the most fun fighting games I've ever played. People say the characters move slow and the gameplay is slow. The game sure seems that way if you watch people fight, but when you actually play the game, you never notice because the fights can be so intense. This game does have a huge learning cure. There are no one button reversals or super fast 8 hit combos. If you see someone pull off a combo or a reversal, it's pure skill and not button mashing. Another thing I've noticed is that this is one of the few 3d fighters that actually has an emphasis on 3d fighting. If you're a hardcore fighting fan who has someone to play with, this game is highly recommended.

Virtua Fighter PS3

I am more of a Tekken fan per se, but I wanted a next generation fighter for the PS3 and this one is pretty much it.
I have DOA for the 360 and was never really all that impressed with it as a fighter but I have heard that the VF series has always been great.
I have not played it a great deal since I just got it but overall it is pretty nice. The fighting engine is fast and responsive and very similar to Tekken. The texture maps are the most impressive thing since they look real and are nothing short of amazing!
The moves are numerous and the AI is very good since you can not reuse the same tricks over and over again to win consistenly.
Not bad since I have never been a VF fan but I am impressed!

If you just want to play fighting game for the fun of it then get this one. Otherwise get Tekken 5 DR Online, Guilty Gear X2, etc. It's a tough game. I just don't like the cubic 3d feels like there bones are so stiff like a robot when fighting or either there like puppets with a string attached to them and you control there every movement. it's fun once you know the moves to each character.

This is a great fighting game that looks amazing. The water effects are very impressive as well as the beatiful landscapes. The lack of an online multiplayer hurts this game because once you beat the game there is little to no replay value. If you want one of the best looking games for the ps3 I wiould suggest that you purchase Virtual Fighter 5.

Deep Fighter (but no online or rumble) :(

I bought this game when it came out originally on the PS3 and have to say that if you are into a truly deep experience then this is the game for you. Not for the casual game at all. All of the characters have truly unique individual styles and mastering just one character takes a lot of time. I have played all of these since the sega saturn and arcade release and this is by far the best one. Not sure why sega hasn't implemented online and rumble for the ps3 yet :( that would be my only gripe...otherwise the best fighter out there if you have a friend to sit and play with....trash talking in person is always better than through a headset LOL.

Online Support=None

This game is fun only if you have others to play with. The single player game is pretty lame and the story is very minimal. Sega or Sony decided not to support online play for this and that is a shame for PS3 owners. Luckily I also own an Xbox 360 and will wait for the games release later this fall. The xbox version will support online play, which will make the game nearly impossible to put down. I would recommend avoiding the PS3 version.

Graphics are great! But if you think the game play compares to Tekken it is not even close. Game is so slow on the fight sequence that I really have had no interest in it since I purchased it. Not worth buying.
