I have had this camera for almost a year now. In that time it has preformed very poorly. The video quality is nonlight adaptive meaning that if you are filming in a living room or even outside the picture will appear grainy and dim. I have tried using this camera for just small things since it is easier to carry compared to a more heavy duty camera the audio on this camera is terrible to describe it. I have even tried using external microphones to gain better quality to no avail. The 3.5 mm port for audio is outdated and when using an adapter to a usb-c port it is non existent. The usb-c port on the back is labeled for charging and nothing else. Thankfully I have been lucky to record what was necessary on my phone (iPhone 15 pro) with better performance in every area.

Look, if you’re a professional who’s interested because of the 8k recording don’t get your hopes up. The 8k is only 15fps, not that it matters too much since no matter what resolution you’re using the image is constantly noisy. Clunky UI, terrible internal mic and too underpowered to support an external, this thing is truly the definition of you get what you pay for. However, it is somewhat aesthetically pleasing with how old school the videos end up looking. I would highly recommend this is you’re looking to get vibey rave or club footage, but definitely not for professional use.

Actually really good quality and easy to work with. All cords are included, you will need an SD card. The volume could be better quality on recording but a mic attachment would increase the quality or the recordings. The picture seems average on the actual camera but looks incredible once uploaded.

I haven't had an extreme amount of time to get familiar with the product but a couple of things I know I don't like is the feedback during video playback; it's a lot of feedback. I also don't like the volume doesn't go higher or that the microphone sucks. I've tried to buy other microphones but that doesn't seem to help.

The camera records well. The coloration on the video is not the best, but it may be in the settings. I have not tweaked the settings. Also, the battery is suppose to charge during recording, and it seems I have having trouble with it charging. But again, I am an amateur, and it may be something I'm doing wrong. Overall, the camera is good.

Got this for my son. I like it for him being 10 years old but the recording is a little grainy and not the “8k” resolution as advertised. But I do appreciate it comes with a case, HDMI hook up and remote

I just recently purchased a samsung 75” Q800c for my living room and needed some content to test out 8k on the tv. Theres alot of listings for these cheaper “8k” cameras all over Amazon, target etc. BBY was selling this camera for really cheap so i said i might as well give it a try. When recording i was excited to see 8k even thought 15fps is understandable knowing how high the resolution is for such a small camera. When playing the content on my 4k samsung q90 the image quality was the worst ive ever seen on a camera. Didnt even come close to good quality both in light and dark setting. Now the quality itself on the camera screen itself looks great when doing any form of playback every part of what you recorded is completely degraded. Blurry images is all you see and it looks atrocious. Now i said to myself maybe its best if i play it on a laptop with micro sd removed and connecting the card to a memory card readeron my 4k oled gaming laptop cause maybe the camera itself was the problem. Even on the laptop it looked just as bad as tv playback. Will be returning within next day unfortunately. Really wanted camera to work but i guess 8k cameras at a low price wont be here for a long time.

Low price 8k camera is low quality

I purchased this camera yesterday and was looking forward to retiring my older JVC camcorder. This new camera has zero options for focusing (not to be confused with the zoom function) so anything in the foreground is just a blurry disappointment. The main reason I bought this was because it has an Audio-In port for plugging in an external microphone. When receiving with a microphone plugged in the camera will record no audio at all, no matter what permutation of cords, mic settings or audio options in the menu settings I choose. I'm onboard mic is off poor quality at best and any sound recorded is just fuzzy and muted.
All in all I now know why it was being sold for the price it was and I'll be returning it to the store in a few days for a full refund. Best to stick with name brand electronics. There's a reason they're name brand.
