I think we got a dud. I've had to reset it a few times already but my son loves it when it's working. I will try exchanging it because he's so excited.

I bought this camera just to have to take on adventures knowing that it wouldn’t be the best quality, but that it was hundreds of dollars cheaper then a Go Pro. Although not the best, pictures turn out clear and get the job done.

While on vacation my sports camera stopped working. I found this one on BestBuy.com and saw that it was available in a local store. The price was right and it works very well.

Video quality is superior to other alternatives! You'll have to purchase SD card separately. Sound quality is not greatest. You will have to edit the video on your PC by adding a sound track.

I used this to go snorkeling and it worked great. I was hesitant at first that it wouldn’t perform, but I’m 100% happy with my purchase. No water leakage and the video came out clear!

Great quality videos for the price, and name brand. No need to spend too much money on those expensive high end compact cameras like this one; save money and buy this product.

I bought this camera because I didn’t want to spend a bundle on the pricey GoPro....it turns out the Vivitar is a great little camera for outdoor activities...every bit as good as GoPro...it also uses all the same mounts

I didn't use it, but I fooled around with the cases and functions. The case is sturdy and I didn't feel like it would break if dropped. I said dropped, not hurled :D This was my first camera like this and I figured it out pretty easily. My last camera of any kind was 20 years ago!

Purchased this as my dog ate my daughters Vtech waterproof camera. This was cheaper than the vtech and took much better pictures and video. I was more than happy with battery life and supplied accessories. Made her day.

The buttons for turning the camera need to be defined. Too easy to turn off thinking you turned it on. Image is good.

I bought this camera as a gift. It was much appreciated by the recipient. They have a pool and a toddler who is learning how to swim. This should capture lots of happy memories.

Bought for my 10 year old as his first video camera. Battery life is short and the camera has to be reset several times a week when it freezes up. Much cheaper than another well known name brand but you pay for what you get.

I thought this was an affordable alternative to a GoPro, as I I that I wouldn't use it extensively, and wasn't disappointed. I mainly wanted it for the water protection and it works well.

What I loved was the waterproof case which works really well. Easy to use for beginners trying to get into action cameras. What I disliked was that it sometimes malfunction or freezes. There were spelling errors in the menu! The actual camera felt light and cheaply made and so was the watch.

Easy to use for my kids. They love it. My kids dropped it multiple times still works. Very sturdy. Had it for about two years. Still works
