SOUND BAR WAS EASY TO SET-UP. BEST WAY WAS THE OPTICAL CABLE. THE RCA SET-UP WAS ALSO GOOD,SAME SOUND QUALITY AS OPTICAL CABLE. I HAVE A OLDER VIZIO 48' HDTV,OPTICAL CABLE DIDNT WORK ON THE TV,WORKED ON CABLE BOX.SOUND IS CLEAR. CAN MAKE OUT WORDS NOW. I LIKE THE PRODUCT,I LIKE VIZIO.

Even though it's in a small room, I wasn't overly happy with my 43" Vizio's rear facing speakers and a member of the Geek Squad was kind enough to recomend this soundbar for me. It's exactly what I needed and I couldn't be happier. Well...I would be happier if the digital optical connection worked. (I think the issue relates to my TV being connected to my Roku.) On the other hand, the box does come with RCA audio cables, which worked, and adapter. Photo my 43" Vizio and Soundbar on a swivel.

We love this speaker. The integration with a Vizio TV and all the features make this a solid buy. I have a medium sized living room and this sound bar puts out more than enough for the space. Is the bass earth-shattering? No. But it gives the sound substantially more warmth. For the size profile of the speaker- It’s plenty of bass for me. Given all the features, especially the DTS:X feature which gives the sound a substantial boost in clarity and tonal accuracy- this sound bar is a fantastic addition for your TV.

This aesthetically-pleasing sound bar provides excellent audio quality. It's being used as sound enhancement for my Vizio UHD 24"TV, the speakers on which are typically not the best. I've been using on the 1/8" stereo pin for connectivity to the TV since there's no optical connection on the monitor itself. This is a well designed and extremely functional addition to my humble entertainment system.

My husband and I bought this sound bar for our living room tv since it has sound issues and this has fixed all our sound problems! I love the size of this sound bar as well as the great price we got it for! Love it!!!!

Purchased open box item for 37" kitchen TV. Vastly improved TV sound. I built a stand to house the speaker under the TV. The speaker volume can be controlled with TV remote. Once you figure out how to use the remote it is easy to program the various settings on the speaker.

love it. i read one of the reviews here and tried it and worked out great. sounds better than the vizio built-in smart-tv speakers which we use as an external laptop monitor. good size.

Nice sound, when working, but no bluetooth to my 24" TV and it cuts out ALL THE TIME. I have to use mini jack to RCA inputs, and when I back up and fast forward the dvr (which could be the problem since Verizon is unreachable, staffed by 12 year olds, and as a result, I can't get a new set top box to save my life), the sound just drops out and I have to manipulate the dvr to force the tv/speaker to reset and to resume sound. It's tiring, old, ridiculous, boring, and a pain in the butt. Sick of "slick new tech" that's nothing but old yech. Same old same old problems... But the sound, when working, is pretty good.

Like my title says. If you're getting this for a giant living room and home theater set up, you probably will be disappointed. This does not have a dedicated subwoofer, and the sound isn't the GREATEST I've ever heard. However, for the price, the sound is actually fantastic, and definitely will blow away any TV speakers you use. I use this in my studio apartment, and can definitely anger my neighbors with it lol. Its perfect for your small setup that you still want to give a little "oomph" too. The bass is there, and the mids are really clear surprisingly. The highs are nice and don't get distorted. I wish the power cable was a little bit longer, and the LED light indicator to let you know about which mode your in, is not the most intuitive. Im often confused by the light and try not to switch modes, because switching back is a pain. The remote is fine. Not bad, but could be better. I use it for power and volume. What more could you need for a simple sound bar? BOTTOM LINE: This is a great $100 sound bar that will be a complement to any TV-only setup. If you have a bigger budget, by all means get a nicer bar with a subwoofer or may even peripherals. But for the price, and if you know what you're getting, there's not much to go wrong with this sound bar. I'd probably buy it again if it broke in 3-4 years!

Holy moly, this little sound bar is amazing, the bass, the volume, being able to use the remote to control whatever Bluetooth device is hooked up to it, the size, the look of it, just awesome. I’m in my room writing this and can feel the bass from the living room, granted my place is on the smaller side which means I’ll have to adjust the bass as not to disturb my neighbor. Another great thing was how easy it was to pair to my TV and the fact that it stays connected when I turn my TV on, I just press the volume button on my regular remote to get it going and that means I don’t really have to use the remote that came with the sound bar. Just buy it and try it, it won’t hurt. I’m so happy I returned the previous sound bar and got this one instead.

An excellent purchase for a sound bar under $80. Sound is premium for the TV and room it is in. Hook up was relatively easy, and only took a few minutes. Only downside is that I cannot get the sound bar to automatically turn on when I turn myTV on, and the website’s instruction has not helped. I also cannot get the volume to work on my ROKU remote. I know this is user error, but a bit frustrating that I can’t find instruction from Visio or ROKU that has helped.

This is just what I needed for my bedroom. I first wanted something that was small enough to fit under my tv in my cabinet. Then I wanted something that was simple and easy to hook up. Last I wanted something that would substantially upgrade the sound from my tv speakers. This little sound bar did exactly that. It sounds fantastic for its size. I was really surprised by the bottom end. I would highly recommend for the price. Also compare for a price match. It saved me another $20.

The sales person at Best Buy suggested this VIZIO - 2.0-Channel Soundbar System as a low cost alterative due to my limited space. He was correct! Good job buddy, I’m glad I listen to him. This soundbar sounds great! I was amazed at the deep bass this little soundbar produces. As a test, I played a few Blu-ray movies & music CD’s using only this soundbar just to see how it sounded in place of my full surround sound system. I must say, it sounded great! I then added my subwoofer, and WOW! It filled the room nicely. My neighbors will appreciate it! Set-up was a breeze and it connected easily to my Samsung 55” TV using the optical output. The manual was fairly straight forward, but could have been a little better, this doesn’t take away from how good this Soundbar System is. It has adjustments for treble & bass, plus has a subwoofer output jack. The plugs are well hidden and none of the lines show at all. You can connect to it by Bluetooth which is also a nice feature. I highly recommend this VIZIO - 2.0-Channel Soundbar System, you will not be disappointed.

I bought this openbox soundbar over a week ago, I am floored over how good this system sounds for the price. The low and mids are crystal clear, I can watch documentaries without having to turn the volume way up as I would through regular built in tv speakers. Although the bar is small, you can feel and hear the bass. It does an incredibly great job filling the room. Techs are getting better at this lower/entry level price point.

AH-MAY-ZING!! this soundbar has changed my life! i cant believe all of the wonderful sound quality i was missing by just going through my tv! MOVIES HAVE A WHOLE NEW DEPTH to them now. you can feel the rumbles of the bass, hear the rustle of something behind you. i love this. my one issue would be, sometimes it doesnt connect automatically to my tv with my ps5. but i've learned to work around that and i love it.
