The VIZIO 2.1 Channel M-Series Soundbar with Built-in Subwoofers sounds great and is priced reasonably. Good value, easy to set up and use.

Sound is crisp and csn get loud for the price. Dolby fills the room enough to make it great for a non home theater tv

Needed dialog clarity to help aging ears. Some prime time shows were mumble-jumble. We tried several 2.1 systems at increasing price points up to $360. Did not help. This smaller system for about one-third the price was the perfect solution in this household. Bass is satisfying even at lowered bass settings. The dialog is crystal clear on all sources- TV, DVD, radio and streaming music. Not a theater level volume monster but just great for our family area.

Great sound from this sound bar! Easy set-up and use. Also has bluetooth to connect with laptop, phone, ect. Improved the sound of my Vizio tv 100 times over!

I have only had this Vizio Sound bar a short time however in the time i have decided that i love it. no extra boxy subwoofer because it has one built in. it does sound pretty good given that it only costs $99 to $149 depending on if its on sale or not. i got it on sale so it was an even better deal. The subwoofer thats built into the sound bar is not gonna be room shaking bass but it has bass and its way better that tv speakers and it gets loud. Good job Vizio!

Good sound, nice bass. Very streamlined appearance for table top or wall mounting. Paired with an M series TV, works flawlessly via HDMI ARC.

I used this sound bar for a few weeks now. My main purpose was to use it for my second TV in the loft that has really weak TV speakers. First of all, this sound bar is quite stylish. I have a 5.1 Vizio sound bar as well but it doesn’t look anywhere nice as this 2.1 sound bar. The sound is great for movies and games as well as music. It has a good mid range and surprising has good bass for not having a separate subwoofer. The included remote is very easy to navigate and For the price I paid, I think this is a great sound bar. I would definitely recommend it!

This sound bar is amazing! I wanted simple - no separate subwoofer to find a spot for, something reasonably priced and Bluetooth to connect my iPhone. I worked in an electronics store in high school and developed an ear for better quality sound. Out of the box, just sampling music from my Shazam app, the sound is incredible! The additional features controlled by the remote will make listening to TV dialog or other sound sources including music a pleasure - I’d have paid $149 if I wasn’t able to get it on sale for $99! Well done Vizio, really well done!

Love everthing about it. The sound, the style and the ease of use. Use it for both the television and streaming music via bluetooth.

I have this sound bar for a year. Decent sound and connects very well with any bluetooth devices.

Excellent purchase! Sounds much better than the TV built in speaker - a very nice upgrade in sound! Also, it's much easier to hear dialogue with the sound coming out of the front. The low end gives more of a movie theater sound and low end and high end are adjustable along with 4 very usable preset EQ settings. We purchased this as an "open box" and it was like brand new, so it was an excellent value for the reduced price.

When you buy a soundbar, you know you're not going to get the sound quality of a proper stereo system; but at this price point, you aren't going to get a proper system. This is an excellent value for the price. The bass isn't going to shake your room, but it will hit noticeably. Setup was a breeze. With the Vizio OLED I plugged this into the EARC compatible HMDI port, plugged in the power, and the tv took care of the rest. The presets work wonders, and the inclusion of night mode for bass reduction is wonderful.

If you’re not looking for anything special (Atmos, 5.1, or surround) this is a decent soundbar. It gets pretty loud and has good bass that can almost feel like it’s surround sound in a small space. I got it for the LG CX because the speakers are terrible on that thing, and the bar’s minimalist design fits perfect in front of the stand. I lose out on Dolby Atmos content but movies and game sound 100x better than the built-in speakers (even with Atmos on). Definitely recommend this if you hate your tv speakers.

I give this sound bar 4 stars only because of the access it gives other users who are in reach of the connection even if not in your home. Random people were connecting to my sound bar once I got it set up & the only way to assure that won't happen is to make sure you have your smartphone connected to the Bluetooth on the soubdbar as well while using it for TV. I absolutely love how loud it gets and the sleek design is a sure win for me! Oh yea I love it so much I got my dad one for Christmas & he is just as in love with it as I am!!

Good sound bar for the price. I was unable to connect using the ARC DMI port on the sound bar to my TV, even after a call to Vizio support. But I was able to connect using the included digital optical cable. Setup was relatively simple once I figured out how to configure it using the Vizio remote. The sound is good, but of course since it is only 2.1 channel, so don't expect to get anything resembling surround sound. I was not looking for a high-end surround system so it serves my purposes

After years of debating about getting a soundbar, I picked up the Vizio M21d-H8R and couldn't be happier. If you don't have the room, or budget, for larger 5.1 soundbar systems, you'll find this budget-friendly 2.1 all-in-one soundbar does a great job a filling the room with rich, full sound. Setup of the cables is simple but I initially found the remote to be a bit clunky. It did take a little time to get accustomed to using it and learning its little nuances. Didn't care much for the default EQ preset options (movie, games, music, dialouge) but soon had the bass and treble adjusted to my liking. Since then, the only adjustment made has been the volume. I'm very pleased with this choice for my entry into the world of soundbars. If you're fortunate enough to pick this up when it's on sale, you'll get a real steal. Vizio has done a great job with the M21d-H8R. If I'm ever in the market for a larger soundbar system, I'll certainly be investigating other Vizio products.

Our 20 year old surround system finally gave out. I couldnt find a new system to buy. So I started looking at sound bars. I’ve read that DTX or Dolby Atmos was the “new” thing to have. I found this sound bar at a greatcorove with the said feature. I’m glad i fond this. Easy setup. And the sound… great! it’s better than I tought and read with these reviews. The bass is awesome for no seperate sub woofer. And the sound loud!

I bought this for my wife to use in the garage for her workouts. We mainly use it for music streaming and Netflix. The Visio sound bar literally rocks the whole garage. It has great clarity, bass and the Bluetooth pairing to your devices is really easy. I highly recommend this model.
