Big improvement over the tv speakers

On October 7, 2020, I could not get it to power on anymore. It worked great until then -- a nice sound for a very reasonable price. On 10/8/2020, I submitted a self service warranty request for the soundbar on the Vizio website. The self service page said it was still under warranty and that a replacement would be sent after I returned the defective unit. I do not have the original boxes, so I selected the option to have shipping boxes sent to me. On October 30, I sent an email to Vizio Customer Support to find out the status of my return. Five days later, I've received no response from them.

Good sound but doesn't sync with picture

The sound from the sound bar does not match my picture. I noticed it mainly with sports and news. The sound would also randomly decrease and increase without pushing any buttons. I contacted Vizio and they sent a replacement refurbished sound bar. This one did not have the volume issues, but the sound still does not line up. They had me change different settings and nothing worked. They claimed it was not the sound bar and that it was my TV, but the sound on my TV is perfectly fine. It's almost like the soundbar can't keep up with the 4K TV and picture. The sound is great, but it is annoying that it doesn't match peoples lips moving. I will not buy another Vizio product and would not recommend.

Posted .Hello Christine, Typically when not in sync is the digital audio output setting within the TV menu. You will not see a issue arise with the TV speakers because not sending out the audio signal to a external device. Have you try connecting another device or try blue tooth to the Sound bar yet?
