I bought this in-store yesterday, the setup was somewhat confusing. Once everything was connected and found the right connection, the sound came out absolutely beautifully. Highly suggest putting the subwoofer next to your couch as it feels as though you are in the movie theatre. I’d buy this product over and over. Hoping it works for a very long time. I would suggest this to anyone who is looking for a theatre quality speaker.

I bought the Sony and Vizio soundbars to compare, thinking that i would end up keeping the Sony htct290 and returning the Vizio, because of course it’s a SONY, but to my surprise Vizio delivered a sound that was theater-like and made me enjoy the movie scenes so much more than the Sony. Sony htct290 was loud and clear but not theatrical like the Vizio which enhanced all the small sound details in the background which made the big difference and made you feel as if you’re part of the movie. I ended up returning the Sony htct290 and keeping the Vizio. If you want movie theater experience without filling your room with satellite speakers and wires, this is the soundbar and subwoofer to get. I’m really impressed. They could notch up the speaking sound a tiny bit but nothing important in comparison with all the advantages.

I purchased this for my bedroom. When I first set it up, I noticed that the soundbar seemed to by out of phase with the sub. I could actually tell immediately when sound was coming from the sub. My experience with my JBL system has taught me that when located properly and in-phase with the rest of the system, a sub should become almost invisible (I place my sub in the corner). So, I rearranged the placement of the soundbar and made sure that there was nothing between it and the wall. That made all the difference. Now the soundbar and sub are in-phase and the bass is omnipresent - as it should be. I was really surprised at how good this system sounds, especially since I had not thought of Visio as a speaker maker. You want bass, this bad boy delivers! As for the supplied remote; I used it only for initial setup. I have the soundbar, TV, and cable box programmed into my learning universal remote, and with one button I power off and on all three devices. Then I use my Dish Network remote to control the soundbar when I am watching TV.

The sound quality is so much better than I expected. I initially purchased this for my bedroom, but since the sound is much better than a (MUCH) more expensive unit that I had in the living room, I swapped them out. I would have given this 5 stars, but the remote display doesn't light up making it difficult to navigate the remote in a a dark room, and there is no way to connect the sound interface to the tv so you can actually see the volume number. They really need to rethink the remote. Still, it's well worth the price.

The Vizio SB3621N-E8M is the best soundbar system I have ever purchased. It offers pristine home theater quality sound for a fraction of the price. The set up is a breeze, and the design is esthetically pleasing. This soundbar system is truly remarkable. Do yourself a favor and pick this up for it will change the way you experience sound.

Not happy with the sound from just the TV but not wanting to invest into a whole audio surround system I started searching for a sound bar. And decided to take a chance with Vizio based on the reviews and price. And let me say I'm thoroughly impressed, the setup was simplistic at best, and the sound quality was very-very good. Much better than I expected, and being able to sync my phone up via Bluetooth was an added benefit as now I can play music without having to plug my phone in. Definitely worth the purchase especially if using in a small room/bedroom or den.

It took me maybe 10 minutes to connect this soundbar to my Samsung TV. Pairing up the sub woofer took even less. I purchased this unit after getting sick and tired of my Samsung soundbar disconnecting because of the spotty Blue-Tooth. Pairing up the sub woofer was also a huge hassle. Out of the box I noticed that the sub woofer on this Vizio is much better quality (and better looking) than my previous one which seemed to have been made out of cheap particle board. It is much heavier too, but takes up less room. Now I feel like I'm in a movie theater every time I tun on the TV ! The base is awesome. The sound from the bar is not that great in my opinion, but you can adjust the Bass and Treble if you want a richer sound experience. Combined with the sub woofer, I'm not really complaining. I have a $3000 Hi-Fi stereo so for watching movies and regular TV this is adequate. At 100 dB this unit fills up my entire living room which is a little bit larger than the average living room. I actually have to turn the sound down so that the neighbors don't complain, especially at night. I heard some horror stories(reviews) about this sound bar, but they were mostly for the 2017 and older models. That's why I was a little hesitant to give this a '5'. However so far so good. If things do change for the worse in the near future, then I might have to change this review.

I got this on sale. It's not an $800 system but wow! Movies and music now come to life with clarity and rumbling lows like a theater. The remote is a little tricky to use but for small to medium sized living rooms this is the ticket. One reviewer said that you can't control the volume of the subwoofer but that's not the case. There are many control options with the remote.

My last experience setting up a sound bar was a dismal flop (returned it). Purchased this Vizio and with a few very simple steps *presto* we had sound! Could not believe how easy the setup was with no assembly at all other than putting batteries in the remote, and that hardly qualifies. Very impressed with the sound quality so far. Definitely recommend this product.

I’ve been listening to the unit for the past few hours. It is impressive. I got it on sale for $150. I cannot believe that sound that good comes out of speakers for that little money. Sounds great with movies. Deep bass, transparent mid range and voices are super clear. Music sounds awesome too.

I replace my old Bose 321 for small office, and this Vizio really do better than my old Bose, and easy to set up connect BT etc Hard to believe at this price , sound quality is beat the more expensive set. I bought another sound bar for my recreation room , cost 3x more, and I think this Vizio sound better

My original sound bar was given to me by my friend, never having one I really liked it. It started acting crazy but now I was used to having one. Jumped on BestBuy.Com searched sound bars looking for a quick replacement and took advantage of this pre-black Friday sale. You can go ahead and spend $400 on yours, I guarantee this one provides the same experience!! $99 for superb quality sound - all day everyday!!! It sync’d to my directv remote automatically. Go buy it right meow!!!

The sound is good....but the manual that comes with it is NOT for the LCD remote...it is for the other style remote with no lcd screen even though it shows a picture of the lcd remote in the manual. There is NO DTS TruSurround setting even though it is advertised. The non lcd remote has this setting so Im not even sure if the soundbar is playing in DTS TRUSurround... There is Night mode thats not even explained in the manual. Its like they changed the remote but didnt bother to change the instructions to go with the lcd remote. But it is better than the tv speakers and i only paid 120.

Feel like for the money there is no better sound bar to purchase. I was looking for something a little better than the speakers on tvs for my living room and this was it. I would highly recommend the soundbar especially if you are on a budget.

Sound bar and subwoofer sound great. Had several on display and I listened to most of them. I am usually brand loyal and was going to buy the Sony, but it didn't have the clear sound this had. You can adjust the treble, bass and subwoofer to your desired levels. Price being right at $150, you can't beat the deal.

I figured I would buy a cheaper sound bar for the guest room, once it was set up I was very surprised just how well it sounded for the price only feature I didn't care for was the electrical cored on the subwoofer is located directly in front of the subwoofer and for the price I guess I can live with that.

Purchased the Vizio 3621 soundbar and matched it up with a Vizio 55pf1 TV. Super easy set up and paired up with the TV perfectly. Sounds great for movies and gaming. Highly recommend!!
