This is really a good bar, decent little wireless sub as well. For the price you really can’t go wrong with it. I only returned it because we need a little smaller sound bar.

I would've given this soundbar a 5 Star rating if this it had an "auto on" feature like my beloved Vizio SB3820. Also, although the Quick Start Guide shows a "DTS Surround Sound" setting, the function does not show up in the remote menu, hence - no surround option! Because of these shortcomings, I would not use this for my main TV but it's great for a secondary TV or an area where you would like to stream music. The sound is exceptional!

I replaced a JBL soundbar with this Vizio bar/woofer combo when the subwoofer on my last set stopped communicating with its soundbar. The Vizio looks super sharp and I love the minimalist-style LED lights that show when you're controlling the volume/bass/treble and so on. The woofer doesnt pack a huge punch but one can't expect it to given its size. This is an all-around solid speaker pair that gives you a surround sound feel without all the wires, stands or mounts.

I bought the Bose 500 Soundbar prior to buying the Vizio. What a joke, this $150 Vizio sounded so much better. Crisp clear audio on the treble side, and the perfect amount of bass for the sub, giving my living room a deep rich sound. I couldn't go with big system because I live in a condo, with people above and below, but this is perfect, I couldn't be any happier! I cant believe this is $149.99, what a steal of a buy.

This is an awesome soundbar that produces great mids and highs, and the wireless subwoofer produces excellent lows. I conducted much research and CNET’s positive review swayed my decision on purchasing this Vizio 2.1 channel soundbar. Very satisfied customer. Got mine on sale for $129 during the Christmas holidays. After almost eight months of use, still super happy with my selection. Highly recommended!

I literally spent 4+ hours researching soundbars for my living room, did not want to spend a fortune on a soundbar. This is byfar the best in class soundbar bought it on sale. It connected well with my LG TV and also works with the LG TV remote (Really A++). I did not even bother to open Vizio soundbar remote. Believe me, you wont go wrong with this purchase at all.

Disclaimer: I do NOT own but have spent plenty of time with one that my parents purchased. Considering the price, this bar is decent for the money. If you are looking for something that just sounds better than the internal speakers in your tv and are on a limited budget this bar is for you. Although I would recommend saving some money and getting something better. The sound is way too bright sounding and the bass is too boomy for my tastes. Watching a a scene with lots of dialogue is very annoying due to the ear piercing Highs. But when you try to dial back the treble it starts to sound too muffled. I could not find a happy medium and find myself just shutting the stupid thing off and watching with the tv speakers. Also, the LED input indicator could be better. You pretty much have to keep pushing the input button until you hear the sound to know you have the right input. So if you like a very forward sound maybe you can get some enjoyment out of this one but I wouldn't spend money on it.

Lacks any sound adjustments. When watching a movie keep the remote close by to adjust the volume. Background songs crank, while voices remain low. Frustrating and will likely return.

After a lot of research I bought this soundbar and sub for our motorhome at our local BB. The reviews were spot on. This is a great value and it sounds great. I own a few other Vizio products, including a new outside tv for our motorhome and a small soundbar for it. They continue to give you a lot of bang for your buck.

Bought this sound bar because it was rated highly by consumer reports. WOW very pleased with the enhancement it provides for me with my hearing aids to a one year old LG LCD TV. No more scratching sounding speech.

This soundbar with subwoofer packs a punch. its small sleek form factor is well produced and the sound is well projected. Dialoge is very clear and distinguishable. The sub is no slouch either, very punchy and smooth rumble. even in a larger space the sound carries well.

An astonishing sound bar and sub for the price, this is the first sound system I have ever purchased and it is absolutely amazing! I know there are far better but you cannot beat this for the price!

it's a great soundbar, but do yourself a favor and do a Firmware update first before doing the setup, it will make life less frustrating

I would have given 5 stars but remote is too small, like Vizio's TV remote, not lighted so very hard to read. Hope they read this review and change their remotes.

The soundbar is not any better than the TV speakers on my KU6300. The sub-woofer just adds unrealistic thumping low quality bass. Central frequencies are bad, voice is screeching and is a pain for my ears. Buy any Bluetooth boombox in the 150$-200$ range and you'll be happier. The remote might be a problem but search around, or buy some cheaper pioneer/klipsch bookshelf stereo speakers, add some low quality receiver and that's way better than this nonsense.

Most sound ranges are ok, but certain speaking volumes or piano type music sounds so tinny and rattly and grainy. I received this as a gift, disappointed in the overall quality despite all of the positive reviews.

Didnt have any problems, synced up to my new samsung tv well, the 2 rear speakers were ok but didnt expect much from a cheap set up but they work, bass is nice. Overall happy but the wife made me return.

Do not buy this package. It was a pain to set-up and stopped working after 6 weeks. The sound bar started cutting off after power-up for 1 second. Vizio customer support does offer a free replacement for 1 year, but decided to eat the cost of this purchase and go with another set-up. Seems this is not an uncommon problem based on fix research. Unfortunately, past the return timeline for Best Best.

No matter what we try the lip sync is off when using this sound bar. The sound quality is nice, nice bass, nice improved sound, but the lips being off with the sound is annoying. We've read everything and used the lip sync option and nothing works. Didn't see others complain about this???
