    This tv is not a smart tv. There are no apps to download, no Netflix or Amazon or Hulu. You're supposed to "cast" from your mobile device which hurts your picture quality. Great picture when watching Blu-ray Disc.

    Broken right out of the box

    We got home after purchasing this Vizio and began to set up our TV quickly. Once we plugged it in and the screen lit up, the LED was shattered like a spiderweb all across the entire 40 inches. The box had no damage done at all, so it is clearly a quality issue.

    What can I say. It gets a good picture, but don't all TV's today??? I have Samsung, LG and Vzio, I can't tell one from the other when I'm watching.

    We own several Vizio TV's and have been very happy with them so we selected Vizio as a gift for a family member. There was a little disappointment because the unit had been damaged in shipping, but Best Buy exchanged the TV with no hassle.

    Lame remote included, have to use my tablet with an app as remote, but the TV itself has no apps.? Picture OK, but not worth the no apps and remote

    Wow what a tv.... if that is what you want to call it.... this tv is amazing. I bought it for my son who just graduated 8th grade and this was part of his gift.... the features this tv has is amazing for the money..... what a buy!

    It's nice I can easily watch things from my phone onto the tv. BUT is seems a hassle when you have to use phone for basic settings. Would be nicer if you had more options from the tv as well such as apps.

    You need to download an app. Should have returned it but lucky I had several days to figure it out. Would not recommend unless you work for Bestbuy Geek Squad.

    I have had this brand before and really love it but this one the quality of the picture and the bax it sits in is just okay. I don't like the feet of the tv so far apart It can only fit on large stand

    Chromecast needs more work. Not very user friendly as it finds difficulty connecting compared to the stand alone Chromecast itself. And probablly better to get the standalone casts or players.

    The last TV that had was a Samsung, which worked fine until 1 month after the Qeek Squad warranty ran out, so I wasn't going to buy a Samsung. I'll see how this brand lasts.

    Great color and tv works wonderful. Problem is if my phone isn't available the tv is obsolete. Having a lot of trouble finding apps for my other tablets. Wished the tv came with its own

    This product is not useful as just a TV. It is more of a monitor and needs access to a Wi-Fi network and a smart phone to work properly. It does not tell you that on the box or display. The remote is worthless and does not let you access the setup or individual stations. It was a gift for folks in a nursing home and was a big disappointment.

    In order to use the smart tv function you have to use your phone or tablet. I don't really care for that part. Other than that it is a nice tv for the price.

    I am so frustrated with this TV. It is supposed to be Smart, but it's not. The image quality is excellent, but all else is not excellent. Users are challenged with downloading the Cast App on a smart device, which I did twice, and it still only works well when I go through my BluRay player's smart capabilities. Don't get this. I just don't want to deal with returning it. Ugh.

    i dont personally see any difference in the 4K ultra but the built-in smart functions make it so much easier to use than traditional.
