The first TV I bought was a Samsung that didn't have the old-school RCA jacks to hook up my surround sound system, so back it went. After carefully going through pics on Best Buy's website, the next cheapest TV that had the right connections was this Vizio. My local store didn't have any in stock, so I had to trust reviews that the picture really was pretty good. Well, thank you those of you that gave it a good review, because the picture is quite good. Another plus is that it is a smart TV. We've been streaming Netflix through the Wii on our old TV, but this is faster and also allows us to see other things on the web like youtube. Trying to get anything on youtube through the Wii was a waste of time because it was so slow, but this TV pulls it right up. My only complaint is that the speakers aren't very good, definitely worse than the cheaper Samsung, but we have the option of running sound through the speaker system so I can live with it. Overall I'm happy with it.

I use this LED TV as my main PC monitor. The rendering is really good for the price. I helped my cousin buying 4 brand new TVs. I told him to get 4 Vizio. The salesman told him to go with Samsung instead. Don't get me wrong, Samsung or LG are fantastic, but Vizio gives you much more for your money on their entry level TVs. I could not believe how clear my Vizio was compared to those entry level Samsung TVs he got. His choice. Maybe $800 or more, Samsung gives you what you pay for, but the E models from Vizio are fantastic. I got the 48". No regret, fits my needs perfectly.

I had heard such good things about the Vizio televisions so when it came time for me to purchase a new tv I asked around and checked out the sets and I'm so glad I went with the Vizio. This is a fine TV, doesn't take up a lot of room and the picture is great. One of the best values I've seen in a long while.

i had a very tight area for a TV and this fits perfect. It is better than the Sony 48" and has an amazing picture. The built in apps are useful and easy to access. Set up is very simple too = only took ten minutes from opening box to watching.

When our old TV suddenly died we did research on line and visited several stores to make a decision regarding what features we wanted and what brand we wanted, We decided on a 48" Vizio smart TV. We added Chromecast at enjoy our new TV very much. It was certainly a good decision.

I got this TV on sale so it was closer in price to the 43in version I was originally looking at. The picture is great and the colors seem very accurate once you change the picture mode from the default energy star approved settings. I primarily use it for my play station 3 & 4 for sports games, rock band, and the occasional shooter. No noticeable delay in the screen and the refresh rate prevents any screen tear.

would recommend it to everyone/ its a smart tv and has a great picture you can even hook up your lap top to the tv and play your favorite games

I am very happy with my purchase of the Vizio E49-C2. The picture is excellent. I did have to resetup the picture colors and other picture options to get the best picture. The only issue I had with this TV is the poor sound quality that this unit has. I have purchased a Sound Bar that fits perfectly under the TV between the TV's 2 set-of legs. The sound issue is a problem with most LED TV's as they are so thin now they can't put quality speakers in the units. Overall the VIZIO E48-C2 is a GREAT BUY.

The TV was just what I was looking for and I was not disappointed. I have owned it for 3 weeks and have no issues with it. The picture quality is good and settings are easy to adjust to your preference. I have not used the smart TV or any other features outside of regular TV so I can't comment on anything else.

Typically quick and easy Vizio setup. Not high-end specs, but good enough for everyday use and well worth the price.

I previously owned a 42 inch Samsung. Replaced by Vizio 48 inch 1080p flat screen Smart TV. With wifi and built in apps. Easy on screen set up thru remote. Clean lines

This is a great television. I purchased it sight unseen based on other reviews that said with a little time and effort to get the settings just right that you will have an amazing picture. They weren't kidding. When I take a look at my tv now, I can't imagine that a picture could be any better, even a 4k. Great buy, don't hesitate, especially if you can get a great deal like I did.

I researched a lot. This TV is the best! Picture is great right out of box, I love the instant access to all the apps like my amazon video and Netflix and with so many hdmi outlets all our gaming systems are in one spot on the TV! Super easy to use. I am going to purchase a sound bar just to boost volume but it's not inadequate at all, I just need louder to be able to hear. So glad I choose this TV.
