works well except it drops the wifi alot..and the channel changer will randomly stick and just go through the channels .

This was my first smart flat screen purchase and I am very satisfied. Simple to understand and haven't had any picture or audio issues.

Replacing a 10 year old, but still worked, 42" LG Plasma for a SmartTV in our bedroom. We bought the M70-C3 a few months back for our basement and decided it was time to upgrade the bedroom TV as well. Only thing I wish it had was the full QWERTY keyboard on the backside of the remote like the M70 remote has (I know you can buy the full QWERTY keyboard remote but it would be nice if this TV came with it).

Just installed this set with Directv. Looks great. Mounted easily.

Can not leave it plugged in Will turn on for no reason

Well to start, I planned on buying this tv at my local best buy but my store was sold out, so i picked one up at my local walmart. Not my favorite place to buy a tv but I got a good one. So on to the good stuff. I got my tv home and found that it had a nice sturdy stand with two bases that are held in place by two screws for each side. It was very easy to assemble and very sturdy. I eventually wall mount it later on. The reason i bought this tv was for side by side gaming with my son. I already had a high end sony 1080p 50" and wanted something similar in size without breaking the bank. I have to admit this tv has surprised me. I recently purchased a 60" mid level samsung for my parents, and that was a pretty nice tv but I actually prefer the Vizio overall. It has better black uniformity and deeper blacks and better grey scale details. Overall i really like the tv. I would argue that my Sony looks slightly better on skin tones and face detail in Bluray movies. But hardly enough to warrant twice the price. If I had to do it over again i would have purchased two of these tv's from the start and saved myself a lot of money. For gaming, the tv is very good. We don't notice any latency and use the standard picture setting mode calibrated with the disney wow disc with game mode on. Seems just as quick as my sony which has the fastest response time of all tv's in it's class. Long story short I believe anyone that buys this tv will be very happy and it only needs a minor calibration to get it looking great. It's pretty good out of the box. One thing i noticed though was when I originally started to setup the tv I was using the game mode picture setting, while games looked very good movies on a ps4 or xbox one had this bizarre effect where there were vertical bands of the screen in focus and out of focus, changing the video mode to standard mode fixed all of this and made movies look great. Sound is pretty good and overall the tv performs as good if not better than most mid level tv's. It even had better back lighting uniformity than my Sony but not quite as good color reproduction or face graininess. Some of that might be able to be tweaked better in the settings. But I was very happy with the picture as it was so I have no complaints, and I'm pretty much a tv snob. So bang for the buck you are getting a lot of tv. Hands down the best deal I've seen in a long time. Just a FYI I have all my Tv's calibrated using the Disney Wow Blue ray calibration disc.

Awesome for under $400! Looking for something of quality without breaking the bank and found it. Originally bought insignia but had trouble connecting to the Internet. No probs with this tv!

Does what it should and never an issue with this tv

Never got to watch! First one damaged replacement sound didn't work. Returned both. Not very happy with purchase. Returning both TV'S service was the Pitts!

This was purchased for a bedroom tv. We have a 7 year old Vizio we have been very happy with so this was one of the brands we considered. We wanted 120Hz for real - not a made-up standard that claimed that quality. The price was what sold us, and so far we're impressed. Setup was easy - I put it together by myself as a surprise. We have it placed on the top of a roll-top desk - rather narrow space and the legs just fit. We like the stability of the stands on this tv compared to the single pedestal on our old one. It feels much more secure. We do plan eventually on a wall mount but for now it's working well. I wasn't looking for a "smart" tv as we're Roku users but I went through the very easy setup anyway. It works so well I may not get around to installing the Roku. My non-techy husband loves having "Netflix" and "Amazon" buttons right at the top of the remote. We're still exploring the other channels offered through the smart apps. Don't use cable but we do use an antenna and the setup there was easy. Channel scan missed one channel but it was easy to search for it more precisely without losing what had been locked in previously. There are 3 HDMI inputs which we're using for a Bluray player, Chromecast and eventually the Roku or a computer. One of the HDMI inputs and the USB port are on the side making them accessible for plugging in things you won't be permanently installing. Sound is great for a bedroom tv. I keep having to tell him to turn it down ;). Will definitely consider this brand again in the future.

We bought our first Vizio Smart TV a few years ago. We love the Vizio brand so much that we have bought this one recently and plan on buying a 48 inch in this same model for our basement soon. Now that we have a TV with smart features, we wont ever go back. The Vizio set up is easy to navigate and use on this model and the other Vizio model we have. The picture is clear, and the set up is very simple. Not only is the model itself one of great quality, but you can't beat Vizio's customer service. Every time we have had a question, we have received amazing and knowledgeable service each and every time. We more than likely will not buy another brand. In our experiences, Vizio provides you with a great quality product without breaking your bank account. I would highly recommend this TV to anyone. So much that we are buying another one soon.

I like this TV. We bought the 48" unit. It is bigger than the 40" we had. It is clear and we love the smart features. Although I do miss the extra features of my apple TV, but I don't need it anymore. The TV remote in awesome. One button takes you to Amazon videos, another to Netflix and a third to music. Even though I received a new universal remote with my AT&T UVERSE service, I like the Vizio remote better. We did have to buy a different stand. It is my fault for not noticing that it does not swivel, like my Samsung units. So we just bought a unit to raise it with a close to 140 degree range swivel. Was very easy to install. I am also looking into getting a sound system because it has to be really loud for the entire room to hear, but a soundbar should fix that.
