I was looking for a sound bar for my new Vizio 55" 4K TV and saw this one from Vizio as well. Its easy to set up and you get wireless subwoofer with 2 satellite speakers (which connect by cable to the subwoofer), so you can set your soundbar under TV and your speakers behind your seating area, great sound quality at a great price.

I really like this system, it provides great sound for the money. It set up quickly and easily. The subwoofer comes already paired to the sound bar. The only complaints are I wish it had more than one optical input, and I wish the display on the remote was backlit. Other than that it's a good piece of equipment with impressive features for the price.

I am very impressed with this sound bar/sub-woofer and rear speaker system. Important to know is that the rear satellite speakers plug into to sub-woofer and all work wirelessly with the sound bar. The sub-woofer does not have to be in sight of the sound bar (we have it behind our our recliner couch). Sub-woofer will blast you out. Very nice system, better than I expected.

This sound bar exceeded my expectations. It has extremely good sound and is easy to setup and adjust. My TV has an optical audio out that carries 5.1, so it was as simple as connecting the cable and plugging it in. The menu on the remote is simple and easy to use, and provides a great deal of control over the output. The surround sound speakers are a bit unimpressive, but they only provide surround so large drivers are not as critical. About my room: I have a living room with a TV mounted above a fireplace. The ceiling is approximately 20 ft high, with 18ftx18ft dimensions. It has a tiled floor and opens to the rest of the home on two walls. Basically, a very large, acoustically poor room. I originally purchased a sound bar from Sony and besides mediocore sound, it was extremely difficult to set up. This VIsio fills the room with great sound and has sufficient bass. I especially like that the surround sound speakers and subwoofer can be placed in the back of the room without running wires from the soundbar itself. It made installation clean and easy. This replaced some very expensive $2,500 tower speakers with multiple powered subwoofers, and needless to say, the Visio is outmatched. However, the Visio is a much cleaner look and has surround sound - making sound difference an easy trade off. If you are in the market for a sound bar (and especially if you want surround sound), you will want to give this a try.

I am very glad I bought the sound bar with the satellite speakers with it. Also, as a note, the sub is bluetooth but then the satellite speakers plug into the sub. The sound is amazing! We love listening to music and watching movies! It now sounds like a theater in my house. Sometimes I think the bluetooth disconnects which then the sub and speakers have no sound, but I just unplug it and plug it back in and it's fine.

When looking for a surround sound system I checked into many different brands. After some thinking I decided to go with Vizio. I've heard bad things about their audio products, but I've been nothing but impressed with the quality of this system. I have it in my bedroom and it is terrific. For example, I was watching Cast Away the other night and the combination of the sound bar, 2 rear speakers and subwoofer, it felt like I was actually on the airplane and the beach. Definitely worth the money... No doubt about it!

Very pleased with this sound bar, it's super easy to set up and the sound quality it's great. Bluetooth feature is also great.

Slightly pricey. But considering the sound it outputs and the convenience of the wireless....well worth the money! My biggest gripes would be the lack of a back light on the remote (only screen available to see your settings) which brings me too my next gripe....being that there is not built in display on the sound bar. Otherwise for the most part I am very happy with it. sound quality is excellent. hook up was easy. everything looks nice and clean and it works great pair with my vizio 65" tv

With the subwoofer behind you you can really feel the action even at low volume levels. Very simple installation and simple remote. It sounds so good when you are sitting in the center of the system, but loses a lot when you change seats. The bass is great for movies, but not so great for music. I got rid of my old system and run my smart tv to this and it has everything from music to Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon prime. I can't tell you how happy I am with the sound aside from the lack of deep bass, but that's not the bass you want when watching action movies so this is perfect for a movie night. Also when watching normal TV like news and talk shows its sounds nice. It's sounds like it's part of the TV and not a hardcore surround system. I'm looking forward to better quality wireless sub 5.1 system coming out in the future. I think this is how most surround system will be in a few years. Sound bar, wireless sub behind you, and surround speakers coming off of the sub. Simple concept and sounds amazing.

Item was purchased for my entertainment room and I am thrilled with purchase! Room is in lower level of a split-level home so running wires under floor not an option. The wireless sub with tethered rear speakers give me the 5.1 experience at a great price. Sound quality is superb with high and lows balanced well out of box. Highly recommend the item as other 5.1 soundbar set-ups are way out of this family's budget! Only one complaint... the audio inputs are limited to one input for each option (optical, hdmi, etc.). However, was able to buy an optical splitter through BestBuy for under $15 to solve this issue. Now my PS3 and 360 can both run through the one optical port.

This is an excellent sound system for the money. Vizio is definitely improving quality in all there products. The full surround sound set up is great. The sub pounds like a beast and the back speakers (although small) ad the perfect amount of background noise to fully immerse yourself with 360 degree sound. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting an excellent surround sound system at Vizio’s more than competitive pricing.

This soundbar is very easy to set up and use right away. The sound quality is very good and fills a 14x18 room nicely, especially the subwoofer. The rear surround speakers sound great. The only drawback is the remote control view screen is extremely hard to read because it is not back-lit at all, so you cannot make adjustments in low light.

This sound system improves audio greatly when compared to the TV. Wife didn't want wires all over the place so I sacrificed a complete surround system with this one. Wireless works great and sounds good. Only 4 stars because they wasted one of the input jacks with a digital-coax instead of just using two optical inputs (most of my equipment is optical or stereo out, I've never owned a coax-out electronic). The sound isn't as great as dedicated, wired surround - but you shouldn't expect that here. It's really good sound at a great price.

The system works as specified -- try to find some other 5.1 wireless system for this price point (around $220) -- it will not happen. I like the sound better than the BOSE 3-2-1 system it is replacing (about $700) Installed quickly and easily. Rear consists of subwoofer (with AC line and wire to rear speakers. No wires from front to rear...

Great sound for a man cave. Very easy to hook up. Works great with blue tooth from my IPhone.

Sound quality is excellent, very good lows and highs. Would have loved it if this product had separate volume controls for the rear speakers. Also, the volume control should go smoother between levels. from 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 the sound jumps quite a bit, but it is such a great sound that you wouldn't mind that. Overall, a great product for the money, paid about $200 for this product during the Christmas Deals.

I researched quite a few sound bars before settling on this one including brands from Samsung, LG and Sony. What I like about the vizio is the fact it comes with the 2 rear speakers that plug into the wireless subwoofer. I didn't want wires running all over the place so this worked out great. The bass is decent, not what you'll get from a true surround sound system but the best I found in a wireless sound bar.

Matched the positive reviews I'd read prior to purchase completely. Easy to set up. Great surround sound whether movies or music. Love that I can connect a devise by blue tooth and play my Pandora favorites! Great value for the price paid.

When I went into Best Buy to purchase a soundbar, I had a particular soundbar in mind that I wanted to purchase. I was approached by a salesman and he showed me the soundbar that was on display and convinced me to purchase it. It was what I was looking for and I thought more! When the soundbar was installed in my home with a couple of phone calls to Vizio and a visit back to Best Buy, we were questioning the two side speakers as no sound was coming out from them. We then found out that sound only comes out of the side speakers when hook up your iPod/iPhone and play music! When music is played from the soundbar, it sounds amazing. Also, when watching tv, the sound is great, but sound only comes out of the soundbar not the two side speakers, which sounds great! For the price of the unit and overall features I rated it a good, as I was expecting all the speakers to have sound come out when watching the tv!

This Visio soundbar has great sound for the price (might be the best value at this price point). Since the powered subwoofer was Bluetooth, it could mount anywhere -- but the rear channels needed to plug into the sub, slightly limiting their placement. It also required hiding wires to achieve a clean install. The unit came with everything needed for mounting the bar and connecting it to the TV. The remote was a bit "counter-intuitive" at first, but ended up being easy to adapt to. BOTTOM LINE: Great value for the money make this one of the best low-priced 5.1 soundbar systems.
