I've had a standard 5.1 surround set-up for many years. When I purchased my Vizio 50" flatscreen a year and a half ago to go with my 1st Blu-ray player, I didn't know that my old audio set-up (not top-of-the-line by any stretch!) wasn't equipped with the proper inputs to transmit the fabulous blu-ray audio I was supposed to be experiencing. After saving for a bit, I purchased this 5.1 sound bar set-up and was reintroduced into the world of surround sound! I think the 5.1 is a must-have for movie lovers, as opposed to the more readily available 3.1 systems. I run my turntables through a mixer & into the sound bar as well, and it sounds great. If I could take one half star off, it would be for the very low volume level while using the Bluetooth input signal. While this feature wasn't my reason for purchasing, it is still a welcome treat to play audio from my phone without plugging it in. Unfortunately I have to crank up the soundbar to get semi-decent volume. Otherwise, it was a great experience with new tech.

this is an excellent option if you are not going to go spend money on a high end surround sound system. Honestly the bass is too much but this is how i like to watch movies this is why i gave it a 5 star rating.some people would not like the bass so much but i paid like 220 for it and its awsome.

Let me start by saying I got a very good deal on this system due to price match. It's very easy to set up and use. For the price I don't think one can do much better. It doesn't give the crisp enveloping sound my Bose Soundtouch 120 does but again at the price point it would be hard to beat.

I had previously purchase a similar Vizio sound bar with satellite speakers a couple years ago and was pretty satisfied with them. So that is what drove me to purchase these. And wow what and upgrade these are over the last Vizio soundbar I purchased. If you want a premium home theater experience without dealing with the price or hassle of home theater receivers this is the one to buy!

Good sound quality for my apartment. Good value for the money.

I wasn't sure what to expect from soundbars, I'm still old school receiver and a bunch of speakers. I got this for our family room and I have to say it was a great choice. The subwoofer puts out a lot of thump for it's size.

The sound is awesome, when I first set it up I thought some noise was coming from the outside but that was the subwoofer. The quality of the sound is great you even hear some of the background that you never heard before.

We are using this with a Samsung television and to our surprise sounds much better that the equivalent Samsung sound bar. The Vizio had better sound quality than any other brand we tried. We are extremely pleased with it.

For the money you will not find anything that sounds close to this system. The bass is really good and the the separate speakers sounds really good as well. Highly recommend!!!

I am impressed with the sound quality. Very easy to setup

Started with a jbl system that was more expensive and returned it. Wasn't happy with the sound. Purchased the vizio that was less expensive. Very happy with the sound and even purchased a second vizio sound bar.

Very happy with this soundbar, I bought 2 of them and they provide a magnificent audio from my smart tv, the only downsize it's the remote very small screen, but I set up my smartphone to control soundbar

I purchased a 55" Vizio 4K TV recently. And like most budget priced TVs. The TV had been a bit lacking in the audio department. The Vizio TV has been working wonderfully with fantastic picture quality. So I decided to stick with Vizio when purchasing my sound bar. And I have to say, that I couldn't be happier with my purchase! The audio sounds clean the sub woofer is powerful and the surround sound provides me with a complete home theatre sound, at a great price Vizio is known to have. My complaints would not be so much in the audio quality, as much as the build of the sound bar. The whole system is grey so it may not look great with a predominately black entertainment center set up. Plus the sound bar is a bit bulky, so I would suggest wall mounting your tv with the sound bar mounted below it. Otherwise simply setting it in front of a tv on a stand will likely block a bit of the picture as well as block your TVs remote censor. Other than, what I consider minor complaints. I believe for a person interested in a home theatre system on a budget, can't go wrong with the audio quality here.

I had an old Dennon receiver and some big speakers. My receiver started to go out so I did some research and needed something smaller, and that looked nicer for approval, and decided on this 5.1 setup. I have been impressed with how well it has worked and sounds.

My first sound bar lasted about a year and a half then the 2 surround speakers just stopped playing. returned (with extended warranty) got a new version quality seems to be good, hope this one last longer. Good sound quality. Had to buy another warranty which is a best buy policy original extended warranty 4 years ??

Great sound, customizable stats on sound. Only thing needed would be for it to come with satellite speaker stands & or make the satelite speakers bluetooth/wireless

I bought this to enhance the sound on my Sony Bravia. Installation was easy, set up simple. Synching the TV and sound bar not so much. The sound bar remote takes some practice getting used to. Once you get over the learning curve you will be very happy.

Have had this soundbar for a little over a month now and not a single complaint. Actually quite surprised at its performance.....sounds just like I'm in a theater. Would definitely purchase again.

Got this on sale for $299. For what I paid the, the sound is incredible. Bluetooth pairing with a mobile device couldn't be easier. It comes with every cable you could possibly need and has mounting brackets. The included subwoofer is a beast!
