Previously had a Bose cinemate system, but was looking for a true 5.1 system without lots of components/pieces and this fit the bill. Solid construction, great sound (though the sub can be pretty punchy, but is adjustable) at a good price (good on sale or use price match from a competitor). Fits perfectly under my 50" Vizio tv. Plenty of inputs for cable/satellite box, game system (either using HDMI arc and other using optical digital connection), CD player/turntable, etc. Bluetooth connection sounds great using 3.1. Wound definitely recommend.

Got one for the living room TV and now want to get one for my bedroom TV as well. Great sound quality. Love that I can connect my IPOD to it wirelessly and listen to music also.

I had a traditional sound system that i was happy to get rid of. The ability to use the HDMI Arc was probably the biggest selling point to me. I was concerned with getting my Uverse remote and Logitiech remote to work properly with it, and it can adjust the volume as i had hoped. I still use the included remote to adjust the levels of the system, but once i had it where i wanted i really haven't touched it. The bass is really strong, and i have it at the lowest level and it is perfect for me. If you watch at night and don't want to wake your kids or spouse, there is a night mode. I love this thing. I hope this lasts a long time.

Bought this as a gift for my Husband who has been wanting a Sound Bar and he so very happy with it - except that the package says wireless, yet there are 2 wires that come out of the Bass Speaker that run up the wall to the 2 small speakers. Other than that he is extremely happy.

LOOKED AT PURCHASING A MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE SURROUND SOUND SYSTEM BUT THE STORE WORKER RECOMMENDED THIS ONE AND I WAS BLOWN AWAY BY THE SOUND QUALITY FOR A MUCH LOWER PRICE.

The sound from TVs is just horrible. This set not only looks nice but sounds great. Plenty of bass. The only gripe I have is that the rear speakers and subwoofer sometimes gets choppy. I'm not sure if it's the audio source or the issues with the wireless input to the speakers.

I wear hearing aids. New TV's with speaker facing to the rear are totally unacceptable. This bar solved the problem. I and my wife are very happy with sound we can both hear without causing the other extreme distress.

This is a pretty good system. I had an old Onkyo receiver with wires running everywhere that I was going to get a race way to hide the cable. Saw this and immediately purchased it. Easy to set up and the sound is amazing.

This was super simple to set up because it has an HDMI audio return channel plug. One wire to the TV lets everything else you have plugged into the TV have a digital connection to the sound bar. It also turns on and off with the TV and makes use of the on screen volume bar. Much easier to use than a dedicated receiver and sounds just as good for the money.

Very happy with the sound quality considering it wasn't very expensive. It's not as surround sounding as a proper 5.1 system, but it's more than adequate for a bedroom.

The sound bar puts out great sound and bass. Love that it is Bluetooth capable.

Vizio has the best products out there and this is no exception. I love being able to stream music over Bluetooth. The movies sound amazing!! Even better is being able to have surround sound game time with my Ps4!!!

Only had this a couple of weeks and so far it's great. It's my first sound bar and I am impressed by the sound. I still have some playing around to do but defiantly glad I finally bought one and it was this one.

I used to have a receiver with my living room TV setup but since I moved to a new house, I didn't feel like running cables all over for the rear speakers. Enter wireless sub with the two rear speakers plugged in - so no wires! Audio quality is very good, not the same with a dedicated A/V receiver but for the price and features, it can't be beat. Love the sound output for all the 4K content I am watching lately. Audio clarity is very clear compared to my Yamaha Receiver and the JBL speakers.

I originally went into Best Buy looking to purchase a 5.1 with the receiver. I then was shown this sound bar and the quality in a 3.1 and was told how much better the 5.1 would be once I got the version that was at another location. I went and picked it up I installed it which was quick and easy, and I could not be any happier. I definitely recommend this for the price is amazing.

I am really impressed with this Sound system, the quality of this system is really good for the size of our room. So much better than the speakers in the tv.

This is an awesome sound bar with satilight speakers and subwoofer. And they corrected the problem in the previous generation that prevents low volume adjustment. This one goes very low, where the other one would start at a medium volume. A bluray sounds like movie theatre audio with whispers that can be heard while there is base booming explosions . The base is excellent. Keep in mind this is $350 set up. Sure there is higher audio quality systems available but you are going to have to pay alot more. Very pleased with Vizio for a medium sized room. Will buy another one.

The Vizio soundbar w/speakers has truly enhanced my viewing experience with the Samsung 50" Ultra HD TV. This was not one of the more expensive surround sound systems, but it has made a real difference!

It's a great buy for the great price. Sound quality is amazing. And looks wise it is very sleek and perfect for a surround sound system. Worth the buy!!

Went with the VIZIO SB405 after compared it with several soundbar systems with higher price tag. We are very happy with this purchase. This soundbar is a must have for anyone who has high-end TV.
