Vizio person
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our 4th Vizio. Set up and update was a breeze. Picture bright and sharp. Only drawback is audio. Onboard speakers not the best but serviceable. Think this is an inducement to invest in the sound bar.

Good picture, solid smart app platform
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good picture with nice colors and consistent blacks. Even though the smart app is limited to Vizio only apps the apps work well and are solid. Being able to Chromcast and use Apple Air Play 2 also a nice addition.

Great picture, buggy smart features.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture quality on this tv, when it works, is great. Unfortunately, the tv just seems to lose connection to the Wi-Fi network once or twice a month, when every other device is fine (2 smartphones, multiple laptops, 2 other smart tvs, one non-smart tv with a Roku stick). The apps are hard to connect to (particularly Hulu) at times and require some troubleshooting to figure out. If the internet connection of this tv was as stable as every other device, I would love it.

Decent TV for the price, but screen is flawed
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good picture on Calibrated with a slight bump to brightness. Upscaling from cable HD isnt the greatest, but I guess thats expected on a lower model. X box one X looks fantastic and the new game engine is pretty phenomenal. I'll most likely have to return this one because of screen issues. Theres about 3/8 black strip that goes around the outside of the screen up to the bezel, well as mine makes it way down to the last 3' of the TV it seems to taper slightly inward so EVERYTHING played on letterbox shoots light out of the gap between bezel and black strip. Definitely a quality control issue

Amazing for its price!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After owning a 1080p tv for 7 years now, I decided to upgrade mainly due to the next gen consoles coming up. This tv, for its price, has so much going for. The quality is amazing, if you game, make sure you change the picture to “game” as it’ll enhance the refresh rate and give you very low input lag. For regular tv watching the normal settings are good. Although there are other tv’s at a more affordable price, this one took it for me as it’s gaming capabilities are on par with the higher end tv models.

Best bang for buck full Array LED w/ local dimming
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Vizio has always been about having FULL ARRAY LED. Most all competitors including TCL at the same price range only give you edge lit LED which is dark and boring. Edge lit means only some LED lights on the edges sending LED to the center of the screen. Think dark and boring! Many TV's of the $400 budget range don't give you FULL Array LED and many don't give you ANY local dimming zones and this product gives you at least 16 local dimming zones. Obviously the more local dimming zones the better. But at least this model has some... excellent for the price. Each of the 16 dimming zones on a 50 inch TV seem to be a few inches in size...so obviously the more the better. Street lights end up really popping out at you like as if it were in 3d...local dimming is very important to turn off all the LEDs as needed except for the bright spots... think a traffic light in a dark scene with those LEDs staying on with all other LEDs turned off. Quantum color is very colorful. I don't know enough about it but the color is considerably better than without. TV speakers are 20 watts on this model. Louder than most TVs....the more watts the better Not as good app wise as TCL Roku TV's. Roku is like the Android of TVs with the most apps.... TCL is about better software. Worse hardware specs. I'll take the Vizio better hardware for the money any day. Brand name doesn't matter. Often Samsung's spec out on specs worse than Vizio and cost more!!

Good tv for viewing straight on.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great tv for viewing it straight on it has great color / picture but viewing it from a 45 degree angle the picture is washed out. I returned it for a direct lit tv.

Great TV for the price!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great crisp clear picture. However as with most TVs...the sound is abysmal and I would recommend going with a sound bar or complete sound system rather than using the on board speakers

Good price poor picture
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv has great picture on certain devices or channels. I have a lot of ghosting and cloudy spots and a decent amount of light bleed very visible while watching a show or game. Out of the box the Home Screen looks blurry and washed out. I tweaked and tweaked and found a happy spot not the greatest though. The built in apps only stream at 1080 and certain apps look better then others. Hulu is blurry and washed but Netflix looks good with tweaking. Im going to return and save up for a different tv.

Posted .Hello Jake, thank you for taking time to leave us a review. This TV absolutely will stream in resolutions up to 4K or 2160p and with HDR if available, based on the content you are watching and what app you are viewing them from. A great way to test out the ability of the screen and to fine tune it would be to search for "4K HDR" in the YouTube app. As long as your network connection is able to support speeds needed for 4K HDR content, there are some amazing looking videos. If you have any questions or need any assistance, we are available through text message, chat, or over the phone. Just go to support.VIZIO.com and click on ‘Contact Us’.
