    Great Tv for the price

I was looking to get a reasonable priced 4K quality tv. I did a little comparison shopping and decided to go with this to fit my budget. First of all the tv has two wire legs at the bottom end of each side of the tv, so make sure your entertainment center is long enough to support the tv. Overall the picture is great, try to google the tv model calibration and see if you like it, I did. The Tv has hdr which is a must for 4K and you get a tablet as a remote. It also does come with a small remote if tablet isn't your thing. The tablet is great , set up all your apps like YouTube , twitch, netflick, Hulu and cast it to your tv and you are watching it on the big screen. If not let someone else watch on the tablet and you watch something else on tv. Overall great value, now there is always going to be better if you are willing to pay more but if this fits your budget it's a great option

Got this TV primarily for gaming and movies. Has been excellent. Great picture quality from any angle. The input lag is very low for gaming. In the price range probably the best TV I've found. The only downside is the Android tablet remote. It's more steps than it should be in my mind to use the smart features and the Chromecast sometimes drops the picture. You have to pull whatever you were watching up on the tablet again and restream it. I end up using my Fire TV more than the smart features.

This is a great TV. Picture quality is excellent. Input options are plenty. The only issue we've seen is with the Android remote. The idea is sound; however, it can be a bit glitchy and is limited on storage space. Make sure your wireless network is in good working order, too. Keep in mind that Amazon Prime streaming is not available on the remote, nor are apps built into the TV as with older VIZIO models. You can still stream Amazon from other sources, such as a computer using Google Chrome, so all is not lost. The included "simple" remote is a a go-to if the Android smart remote gives you grief.

    Great TV - Internet Required

This is a great entry level 4K TV with good picture and sound quality. It integrates well with my Vizio surround system. The 4K pairs well with PS4 pro and other 4K outputs. My only complaint is that the TV and tablet remote control each require an internet connection to operate (2 total). Once the TV is plugged in it asks for a wifi network immediately. This won't be a problem for most, but if you are like me and live where internet is limited, or no net is available, than you won't be able to use the tablet remote with the TV and will not be able to use the built in "Cast" features.

The tv itself is great, not tuner but most cable devices are going to digital signals anyways! The tablet remote I’ve used twice, I put the app on my iPhone and use that. The standard remote is pretty much usueless as well but the tv told me to order a free replacement remote that has directional pad and will be more useful with the smart features. Overall I love the tv, second one from vizio now and very happy

I bought this for my daughter and she loves it. The picture is very nice thanks to the great up scaling. Motion blur is what's to be expected for this price point, so no complaints. The only thing I didn't care for was the "tablet" remote control. It was nice having all of the settings available from it, but it wasn't very user friendly and the supplied documentation didn't help much. It also isn't used much as we have a TiVo. I wish they would have included a basic remote as well, not just a small touch pad style. This is more of a preference though as my daughter enjoys the tablet. Overall this is a great TV and I recommended it.

Overall its a good 4k TV for the price. I didn't like the Chromcast experience and would rather just have it built into the TV instead of having to use a tablet to stream to the TV. The TV doesn't have the best refresh rates, so I don't recommend it for high end gaming, but for console gaming its just fine. The picture took very little to adjust and its a crisp, bright picture. There are better screens out there but not at the ~$700 price.

I bought this on-sale and use it for gaming. It is awesome with my ps4 pro. Worth every penny; it has great picture resolution and color is also pretty good. Sound is a little inconsistent; but, I was told that most tv's are.

Vizio has finally started to figure out how to make a great TV with great apps, and an easy way to get things from other devices on the screen. The remote for the TV is actually an android tablet with works great and is really convenient. It also has Google Chrome Cast built in which is fantastic. The built-in speakers aren't very good so you definitely need a sound bar or another sound system. The viewing angle is also not amazing, so a room arranged to have a more straight on view is best for this tv.

Solid tv my only problem with the tv is the the remote/ app remote. There is no directional input on either remote so when I plug my thumb drive in to watch movies I can't select which one I want to watch they will just play. Other wise the tv is great. Great picture. Surprisingly good sound comes from the tv. I still prefer my sound bar but the TV's speaker are facing the side of the tv instead of the back so the quilty is actually better than most of the higher priced TVs on the market. Overall I'm happy with it.

Best HDR 4K monitor for the money. Great picture, easy enough to use and set up. Tablet with smartcast might be off putting for people not used to that sort of thing, but if you are technologically competent at all, shouldn't be a problem.

I bought this tv on sale. I had been wanting a 4K tv for a while and went into the store after reading a lot of reviews of different TVs... I did not have an unlimited budget so did not plan on going with some of the more major brands to keep from paying for the name but did not count them out... I really liked the price of the Vizio D series but walked around the corner and saw the major difference of the M series and was completely sold... months later I am still extremely happy with everything this tv has to offer from being able to stream off the tablet to the ease of crime casting on the pc. And the PS4 is beautiful and seamless on the tv as well.

The only downside to this tv is the tablet remote. It constantly loses the signal even when it's less than ten feet from the tv. We have a fire stick set up with the Netflix and Hulu etc so we don't miss the tablet remote. There's a basic remote too which controls on/off, volume, etc so we use that and the fire stick and it's fine. The picture is great and the sound is pretty decent for built in speakers. If you can find a workaround to using the tablet like we did I'd highly recommend it.

The picture is outstanding for tge price however at 60hz refresh....and coming from 120hz there is alot of motion blur. Also on 4k souces there is no way to change the picture size..samsung lets you cuatomize the size and HDR does not work with Xbox one s and is only gets half as bright...about 500 nits...as other hdr tvs. The tablet remote is neat at first but a pain to use in reality. I would recommwnd this if you are looking for a great picture and not too worried about hdr or gaming with hdr

I ended up returning this TV for the 60" M Series, but it wasn't due to any issues with this set. I was looking for a 'gaming' TV for my 'cave'. After doing some research, I found the larger M series was very well rated as a gaming TV (low input lag etc.), and I also wanted the slightly larger picture. For the day or so I had this set going though, I was pleased with it for the price. I'm not an aficionado, but the viewing angle, color, contrast, etc. etc. were all more than acceptable for the price of this TV. I can't speak to the quality of the speakers as I use a surround sound system, but chances are you'll want a sound-bar or better with most any TV these days. Like so many other reviewers have mentioned, the only potential 'bad' with this and many other new Vizio sets is the 'forced' use of the smart phone app. The included remote provides only basic functions for the TV; if you want to adjust any settings, you have no other option but to install the smart phone app. If you're comfortable with a smart phone, the app was decent, and connecting to your TV and getting access to the settings was mostly smooth. If however you're not a 'smart phone person', you may need a little help with the initial set-up from your friendly-neighborhood-computer-guy. It's also important to note that this isn't really a 'Smart TV'. It functions as more of a large screen / second monitor for your smart phone or tablet, by 'casting' (displaying) your Hulu, Netflix etc. etc. from your phone to your TV. So again, if you're not a 'smart phone person', and you intend to use video streaming services like Hulu or Netflix without an external device (such as an Apple TV or Amazon Fire Stick), this may not be the best choice for you. Overall I think this is a good value provided you're aware of the couple of issues noted.

I was expecting a little more from all the rave reviews online but I have to be honest I'm a little underwhelmed with the picture quality. Granted it does look great for the price point but doesn't come close my Samsung KS8000 for my gaming room. Anyways if you need a good mid range HDR 4k TV this is not a bad choice. The tablet remote takes some time getting used to.

Thank you for your feedback. A few things that might help you get the kind of picture quality you are looking for. First, make sure the Display is getting a hi-definition signal. This means making sure that you're source device (like a cable/satellite box) is capable of HD, and that it's connected to your Display with an HDMI cable that can deliver the HD picture. You can also change between pre-set picture modes on the display by pressing the PIC button on your remote. This will toggle between a few picture setting that look good in different situations. If your display is in a bright room try Vivid or Calibrated. If it’s in a dimmer room try Calibrated Dark. VIZIO
