I bought this TV as a gift for my mother for Christmas. Has great picture and sound. She decided she wanted it mounted on the wall and it was easily accomplished. She absolutely loves it.

When reading the capabilities of this TV I got very excited. Having compatability for both Apple and Google products was a huge selling point and both worked well. Airplay was a bit slower, but still was functional. Picture quality was crisp, particularly with 4k streaming content. Speakers were fine, nothing spectacular.
Ultimately, I ended up returning the TV due to Vizio platform performance and OS glitches. The amount of apps on the platform was slim (20 or so), and while navigating between apps there was noticeable lag (2-3 sec on avg). You can certainly get around the app sparcity by streaming from your phone, but that defeats the purpose of a smart TV in my opinion. There were also multiple times during use when the TV would randomly freeze and shut off. I did thorough research across the internet and it seems like this was a common occurrence for multiple people with the v-series.
In summary, the TV picture is great but if you're someone who wants a lot of app options on the tv itself and wants smooth platform and OS performance you're better off going with a different brand. Overall a 3.5 out of 5.

I’ve been a die hard Samsung customer for years. I had a hard time making a decision to buy anything but, however after reading a lot of negative reviews about The new Samsung TVs , I made the decision to buy a Visio. Great tv for a great price! Easy set-up, and I’m very glad I made the decision. Great picture! Don’t hesitate! It’s a great deal!

I purchased this tv and decided to purchase the small sound bar from vizio also and I love them. I wasn’t looking for a very expensive tv or a booming sound. This tv has a great crisp quality to the 4K images. Animal documentaries look so real and like you are on set. I like the tv with the sound bar because. Only need one remote I shut off the tv speakers and only use the sound bar, it is integrated so seem less that I don’t have to fumble with different remotes. I am very happy with the tv quality the size of the screen and the setup is so easy it took me about 20 minutes total and that’s with connecting the tv to the WiFi and searching for updates etc. this is a great buy.

Unstable user interface. Awful IR remote issues.

I regret every moment having chose this TV over the TCL one. I had one opportunity to choose a new TV for our living room, and I ended up choosing this one over a TCL Roku TV that was 55".
This Vizio TV has awful performance issues. It fairly regularly crashes, such that it needs the power cord unplugged to reset it (it'd probably reboot on its own if I wanted to sit there with my thumb up my rear for 2 more minutes). It has issues with HDMI image blanking - if the TV is turned on by the PS3 using the HDMI power-on function, it doesn't detect the image and I have to cycle to a different input, then back to the PS3, to get an image.
Worst of all, the god-awful slim sliver-o-garbage remote that came with it is the WORST remote I've ever used in my life - dating back IR remotes from the '90s, where I could aim the remote behind my head at the floor, press the volume button, and the TV would still see it and react. And the remote would be the consumer of dead batteries - those old remotes would run on a pair of dead AA batteries for another few months. Here, with the Vizio remote, with brand new batteries, aiming straight at the TV, I can't get it to react to 9 out of 10 mashes of the button.
I can see with my cell phone camera that the remote is outputting a dim IR blast, nothing near the IR blast I'd come to expect from other remotes. Very dull. It also has no IR window - they seem to be making the whole remote out of IR filter material (appears black), but even darker than the usual filter windows I'm used to seeing on remotes. Of course I also tested the remote performance without the filter - exactly the same.
So, a poorly designed remote, glitchy and unstable firmware (just use Roku, guys...), leaves me constantly wishing I had bought the other brand instead. I trusted Vizio to produce a quality product, and lost.

Vizio flat screen TV's have turned out to be my favorite. Quality has always been great, and the price seems to generally be at least a little less than other name-brands. Unboxing was simple and setup was easy. No issues encountered.

I upgraded from a long lasting Insignia 50 inch to the 58 inch Vizio Smart TV. I use it in the garage, where we heat it on weekends and sometimes a day or two during the week. Otherwise the temps fall into the 30’s in the cold part of winter. I just bring the heat up gradually, and it has never been an issue for my electronics. This is my first Vizio, and did not want to invest heavily this time, but am happy with this tv, sale priced at 349.00. Sure, I could have gotten a bigger tv for some really cheap prices, but the 58” was a good fit in between windows, that I didn’t want to block. Easy set up, good picture, sound ok when not using home theater. Hoping to cut the cord after I get the hang of everything this tv has to offer. I’m happy.

We bought this 58 inch because Best Buy had two left and the price was cheaper than the 55 inch they had in stock. We have always had good luck with Vizio, probably the most dependable brand in our house. It was easy to hook up, easy to navigate and now we have all of our apps in one place that are easy to get to and use. Picture quality is nice, even the digital antenna seems to have better reception with this TV. While that could be just perception, and not the TV causing it, whatever the case it's nice to finally get all the channels in my area in a clear signal. Customer service was good, and the people at the store were helpful. One thing to remember, which I seem to always forget, the TV maybe 55 inches but the box is going to be enormous with all that packaging material so plan ahead. I didn't and I had to take it out of the box and sit it in the back of the car.

I love this tv. My last Vizio a 1080p LCD is still going after 17 years so hope this one lasts just as long. This new Vizio we purchased is 4K, and LED. It has android apps. All the apps I use are there. Netflix, Hulu, prime, Disney, YouTube tv, YouTube, Vudu, movies anywhere, Apple TV, and peacock. I’d say it’s only missing the new HBO max though I believe it will be added in a future update since Disney plus wasn’t there when we first purchased it and it is now. This has HDR+ and Dolby vision. I’d say it’s only missing the high refresh rate.

I love Vizio TV's . Although this is one of their low quality models it is still a GREAT TV. I use this in my son's room so he can play his games and have the full big gaming effect. I have a Vizio P-series 75" in my living room and I absolutely love it. Vizio is a great brand and they have AWSOME customer service. I had a smaller Vizio a few years back for a guest room when I connected it, the picture on one side had lines down from the top of the screen and I couldn't return to the store because I had it in the box for 4 months before i took it out. Called Vizio and they sent a delivery guy to me with a brand new TV and picked up the other one within 3 days. Love them.

I bought this after my first two choices were sold out. The picture is sharp and I like the smart features. But I have already noticed what I believe to be some burn-in. There is a large faded area in the middle of the screen. Fortunately, you can only see it when the screen is black, so it doesn't affect the picture.

Easy to set up and program. Could be a little faster on response to commands. Can understand why they want you to buy a sound bar. If you're trying to play to a large room, over overcome a lot of noise/chatter, you'll want more sound power. Very nice picture quality and lots of nice extra features included.

Absolutely Love this smart TV before this TV I had a Amazon Smart TV which worked great, but I couldn't mirror my iPhone or computer so I got this VIZIO instead and it does it perfectly!
The smart Hub on VIZIO is very well made and very ease of use however there is no store for more apps or different things which isn't a big deal if you like to use your phone for casting everything anyways, but I prefer to use the apps on the Tv cause then I don't have to mess with my phone to change the episode or anything.
There is also only a limited amount of apps that are on the VIZIO Hub, granted there are all the normal ones, but I use a anime streaming service (Funimation, Crunchyroll) and neither of them have a app on the VIZIO smart Hub which isn't a big deal I just cast it from my phone, but just a little thing that I noticed with using it for a while now. Also it may just be that Funimation and Crunchyroll just haven't came out with a app for VIZIO or something, but still feel it is worth noting.

I love the tv. It is linked to my Alexa. The picture is amazing. I have had it a short time. But the only down side I could find is really more of a inconvenience. I really wish it would link with my Ring door camera without needing a fire stick. I would recommend this tv to anyone wanting one. The price for quality it great.

The 4k UHD is great, I was not aware of the difference on the way the picture fills the screen. It really eliminates the glare on the screen from natural and artificial light. The price compared to equivalent products was great. I am now ready for the upgraded television service that is being installed in our area.

Needed another TV for a specific venue. This TV may not have all the latest updates, but can you really tell the difference 99% of the time? While I wouldn't put this in a theater setting, on the patio, or spare room, or game area is absolutely perfect. 4 years ago, a TV like this would have cost $1,200. And while you have been ecstatic for this TV 4 years ago, can you really tell the difference. Why spend a ridiculous sum of money for a secondary location TV. Since it's in a not prime location, I can afford to buy 4 more of these over the next 12 years and be money ahead all the way through. Picture is great, interface is good, sound is fine. Might consider adding a sound bar.

Needed a basic large screen television to replace a broken large screen tv used only to connect to cable to watch network broadcasts. Didn't need all the extras that came with this but it will be a learning experience to learn all the features it has. It was easy to unpackage and set up. The picture is as good as any tv in this price range. After reading reviews prior to purchasing I was preparing myself to possibly needing to add a sound bar but the sound is very good. Had to purchase a pedestal stand because the legs were too wide for my tv stand but it seems most tvs have the wide base legs. The 58" screen was a perfect fit, slightly larger than my previous tv because a 65" would have been a challenge to fit. Very pleased with this purchase.
