Beautiful television, yet having to run apps off of your phone is ridiculous. I tested it by using Netflix, I kept my phone with me as I walked down the hall to my bedroom and the streaming stopped. Plus it just drained my battery just to watch a movie. Nope.

This tv is affordable and has a decent picture. My first issue is with the "SmartCast" feature but I honestly got past that since I use an Apple TV anyways. My real problem and the reason I am returning it is that after 3 weeks it started turning off on its own. This has happened numerous times while I was watching tv and there doesn't seem to be any firmware updates to maybe fix it. I suppose there is a chance that I got a lemon but i want buyers to know that this can happen and to beware. I got lucky that this happened within Best Buy's return policy and I will be upgrading to a more reliable brand. Sometimes saving a few bucks just isn't worth it. At least now I can get a 4K tv that will allow me to stream at that level without an app. Sorry Vizio, I will be moving on. **Kisses Bae

Broke in the first 10 days. Took another week to get it fixed. Second Vizio E series I've had break. But now that it works it's fine. I worry there's a flaw and it'll break the same way out of warrantee.

The screen is cracked. The tv remained wrapped in bubble wrap until one week ago. At that time myself and two others installed the wall mount according to directions. Television was gently hind on wall and plugged in. The screen flickered very briefly and the crack in the screen became apparent. At this time we powered down the unit and set it safely out of the way. This was purchased as an open box special

I purchased open box and saved a significant amount of money but after using the TV I found myself to be disappointed in the quality and the lack of ease in use. TV does not include remote must be controlled by smart phone app and I found this to be difficult as it requires wifi for phone to connect and overall TV was just not user-friendly. I returned TV due to a spot on the screen that was noticed a few days after purchase. Customer service was great and made the return process simple.

2 weeks into having this tv it frequently cycles on and off. This is conveniently after the timeframe to return. At least Geek Squad is going to replace the mother board free. Seriously upset with Vizio right now! This is a defective product and they do not stand behind their product. We also purchased a tv for my daughters birthday and Vizio is NO LONGER an option. They won't be receiving anymore of my money!

Had TV for approx. 3 weeks before it started powering shutting off then would come back on. Had geek squad out to look at it and basically unless this TV is paired with your cell phone and you are present it is useless. Geek squad did what they could Vizio customer service was a joke will not purchase another from vizio. returned to store for exchange. Best buy made it right and now switched to sharp.

This is a real review not part of a contest and I wasn't given the tv for a review. First of all, a lot of people complain about this tv not having a built in tuner and having to use your phone or a tablet to control smart features like Netflix. This is the reason why the tv is a bit cheaper than others, read the specs first before you buy it. you get what you pay for. I bought this set for $699.99. is it worth that, yes. is it worth what some places are selling it for ($969), no. best buy has it on sale and is well worth the sale price. Pros- cheaper than most 4k sets, great picture, and the chrome cast allows you to watch Netflix in UHD. the picture quality is freaking awesome. Cons- the remote is worthless. it is only the basic functions and none of them are labeled other than volume so I am constantly pressing the picture/contract display button when I want to change the input. the symbols on the buttons are useless. the smart cast feature that you have to download on your phone is a bit irritating but is pretty cool if you have patience. this feature works thru wifi so if your internet sucks your ability to operate any function for the tv is more difficult. like if your show is buffering your remote on your phone to include volume doesn't work. if you have a spare smart phone or tablet for a dedicated tv "remote" it should work out a little better. all n all I do not regret buying the tv but wouldn't pay too much more for it than what I paid.
