Mostly awesome. Possibly one show stopper.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love ALMOST everything about this TV. Setup, picture, build quality, built in apps, ability to play wide array of video formats from USB, etc. However there is one issue that could be a showstopper. I play a fair amount of PS4 on the TV, and it will periodically blink the screen off for a short period. Maybe 1/2 second. Not a problem for strategy type games but could cause issues with action games. I can't tell for sure, but when it comes back on after the flash, the contrast *appears* to be different. Maybe it's struggling with HDR data on some games or the way the PS4 sends it. I've updated the TV to current level and rebooted. I haven't tried an exhaustive list of video settings to determine where the problem is, but it seems to occur regardless of Picture setting (calibrated, vivid, game, etc.). Hopefully Vizio support sees this and is able to find a product fix to issue in the next update. Otherwise, this may have to go back.

Looks good!
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First unit was DOA, but the replacement works well, picture is great, smartcast apps operate as they should. Built in audio is passable, but pairing with soundbar is the way to go

No buyer's remorse
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far, so good. We were able to get a great deal thanks to price match. It fits perfectly in the space we had on our living room wall. I had done a lot of research and found that this TV had better independent ratings than many of the more expensive brands. The picture is awesome! We tested out some 4K HDR content and we were blown away. It has more inputs than a lot of other Tv's in its price range. We don't use the built in speakers because we already had a soundbar, so I can't really rate them. Smartest and the WatchFree app (PlutoTV) is useful. Can't think of anything I don't like about this TV.

Great Value
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The most expensive television I've ever bought in my entire life. And hopefully the last. This tv is phenomenal! I've had it literally since day one official release in August 2020. The blacks are literally OLED black and please don't let the low amount of dimming zones sway you. The magic behind those few dimming zones to achieve oled black and darker scenes blow me away to this day. The colors are vibrant and the picture is extremely sharp and emersive! I am a gamer chick and play Xbox on it and it handles it well! The refresh rate is 60hz it's plenty for me honestly. This set is future proof. I don't use the actual tv speakers. Honestly i never heard them. I've used a 5.1 system. But this is a great TV. Oh and buy and use a apple tv, roku, or google tv for streaming purposes.

Extremely Pleased!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am extremely happy with this tv! The picture is bright, beautiful, crisp, and the colors are fantastic. The price was the best I could find on a tv of this caliber. Set up was easy (my daughter and I mounted it without any assistance or problems) and getting the tv going was a breeze, The only downside is the sound, but I purchased a sound bar and that alleviated that problem instantly. I am truly loving my new set up. I ordered from Best Buy online and had it delivered to my home. The delivery guys were very nice and friendly, careful with my item, and extremely courteous on the phone when they called me to let me know when they would be arriving.

The screen isn't the problem
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Look, if you just need a TV to be a screen that displays your content, great. This is a very competent screen for the price category and the vast majority of people will never notice any deficiencies with it. Great bang for buck there. My problem with this thing is Vizio's god awful software, if you have the misfortune of attempting to use this as an actual smart TV. On paper it's fine, supports every app you're likely to need, etc. But good lord is it the slowest TV interface I have used in many years. It's also not stable, apps sometimes don't work, it locked up on the last update (where it rebooted without asking, by the way). Terrible user experience. Do yourself a favor, disconnect it from the network and plug in your favorite third party streaming box. The speakers are also total garbage. Turn up the volume and it will get shrill and ice picky before dialogue actually becomes clear. Budget for at least a basic soundbar.

Best tv in the market
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went back and forth for hours trying to decide between Vizio and Samsung... let me tell you, I could not be happier!! I am a moderate gamer and movie lover, going from a 50” to this 65” is life changing. The tv puts a smile on my face everyday. The quality is insane, very little flare, frame refresh is crazy fast, and no odd hiccups! The stereo volume is just fine, the navigation menu is very easy, and it is very easy to attach a tv stand to. To anyone on the fence on buying a tv, please know that you will not regret going to 65”, and that even though it isn’t Samsung, I could not be happier

Awesome TV for a great price!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have had this TV for almost a month now and I have to say that the picture quality is great for the price. The colors are vibrant. There are adjustments that have to be made for an optimal viewing experience but that is true of almost any TV. We were watching an episode of Planet Earth on BBC America and the sharpness of the picture blew us away. The blacks were black (not washed out) and the detail amazing. It may take some time to get the adjustments perfect for you but it is well worth it! I would definitely recommend this TV for anyone looking to upgrade.

Great budget TV For 4K gaming
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this TV specifically for the Xbox Series X. Did a ton of research and debated between 60 FPS and 120. In the end I decided on this tv with 60 FPS, and I am happy I did. For the price, this compares reasonably well with other high end TV’s. The colors “pop” and are bright and crisp. At times the white with HDR can be a bit overwhelming, but you can always correct this in the settings menu. For the 4K to be detected you have to physically go into the HDMI input settings and change it to 2.1 instead of auto, which is a minor inconvenience, but may be fixed with an update in the near future. The smart TV options are adequate, but lack the option of downloading apps. Disney+, Netflix, Hulu, and a host of other apps are included, but you cannot install apps that are not already on the TV such as is the case with HBO Max. You do get an option call “watch free” for all you cord cutters out there, which has a decent selection of “cable” channels to stream. All in all I gave this TV 4 stars as it is a great budget option for someone looking to upgrade to 4K or for Next Gen gaming without breaking the bank.

This thing is amazing!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I have to say this TV is amazing. We had a 5 year old Vizio and we were noticing the picture quality was not as good as some of these newer TV's. My wife wanted something that our son can operate and use with Disney Plus and Hulu. Well since this TV can be used with Alexa, our son can tell it to play Anamaniacs, Rescue Rangers, Tale Spin, etc.... The picture quality is amazing. We watched our first 4k move the other night and the picture and color looked better than real life. Amazing TV, easy to setup and use and the price is unreal. Great TV!

Vizio
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great TV for the price. I would recommend that you go with the M series or higher. I have more expensive TV's and there isn't a huge drop off in picture quality. Smartcast is pretty easy to use and comes with a lot of free channels. However, I use a firestick primarily. Set up was easy.

Great TV for the price point
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. Upgraded from 1080p and the picture is definitely better. The TV is relatively light for 65” and was super easy to set up and mount. Picture is variable and requires some tooling to get it just right but that’s standard with most sets. The smart cast is extremely easy to use and allows you to cast anything from your smart phone directly to your tv with ease without downloading any extra apps. The smart TVs menu is nice, clean, and intuitive. Would recommend for the price, absolutely.

Great value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my third Vizio and this set offers very good quality for the price paid. Image is excellent. Easy and fast to set up. I wish Smart Cast would be easier to navigate. I also wish these sets come with bluetooth as I watch most of the time programs using earphones. I solved this problem getting a bluetooth transmitter. The Vizio's settings for the lip sync don't help much though in eliminating the lag between image and sound. It would require a little more work on their side.

Vizio M-series
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly I was a little skeptical after some reviews from the rtings website with viewing angles and color wash out without being directly in front, blah, blah, blah. The speakers are no good, which should be expected by this time. Splurge for a soundbar, you won't regret it. The viewing angles are just fine for most seating arrangements unless you are WAAAY off to the side of center. The picture is stunning, the app store is actually much improved from previous Vizio smart tvs, and it is very smooth in transition between screens. The only gripe that I have is really just a niche issue. I had to buy a different soundbar because the volume up signal for my soundbar, was the Netflix shortcut signal for the TV. Annoying for sure, but still not enough to make a big deal about. You won't be disappointed with this TV. Best for the price in my opinion after doing a lot of research.

Good tv
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This a very good tv for the money. Picture quality is very good for the price and is fairly easy to navigate through the menu. The sound isn’t the best out of the tv so I’d recommend getting a sound at for it. Otherwise it has not disappointed!

Unbelievable Picture
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only had this one day, but wow. The picture is phenomenal. It's like i'm seeing details that i've never seen before. I saw the world from the apple tv screen saver, and could see details that i never knew were there. Loses points for two reasons - the remote interface is clunky and at the price should be so much better. And the sound quality is truly terrible. I had no idea TV speakers had gone downhill in quality so much.

Vizio M series Quantum 65
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Vizio M series Quantum. Vizio has grown leaps and bounds in such a short time. This model is fantastic, placing it just behind the TCL 625 model in quality all the way around. The good thing is you really won't see the difference unless your a tv guru. What you will notice is the money you save, buying a pricier TV does not always mean better quality. This TV is a great value and will not disappoint you.
