wonderful tv now that they have updated it! super fast, boots right up and has all the apps I need. only downside is the remote has built in app buttons and I honestly don't think anyone uses half of them. but other than that its a solid TV

We have been very happy with out purchase. We had to adjust a few of the default settings to get the picture quality where we wanted but it was easy. There are a lot of free Channels which was great. Set up was a breeze. As others have said not all apps are available to set up so we use the video home screen along with our roku device to stream all our services. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to upgrade their tv.

Good TV for price. Easy to set up and has a good picture. There are only two issues I have with it keeping me from giving it 5 stars. 1) The SmartCast volume is lousy. Even through a sound bar it’s terrible. The voices are low and the background is high. There are no fixes either, just complaints. I bought a Fire Stick and don’t even use SmartCast anymore. 2) The remote is made for tiny hands. The volume and channel change buttons are so low on the face you can’t grip it well enough to change either comfortably. Other than that, I’m happy with it. I would immediately change the backlighting to about 80 rather than the factory 90+. Vizios are notorious for backlight failure.

Great TV! This tv has a great picture & sound. Easy to use. What a difference going from watching a 50 inch tv to a 65 inch tv. Has built in apps like Netflix, hulu, etc so you don’t need a fire stick. This tv gives you everything you need at a great price. I highly recommend this tv.

My wife and I bought our first "Big" TV several years ago when no one had heard of Vizio. It was a 60" LED Smart TV that wasn't so smart but we always used our apple tv (and later Fire stick) and were very pleased with the overall performance of the TV. That one still exists today but after moving to our new home we decided to migrate it to our bedroom and upgrade the living room model. This is the one we landed on.
The picture is fantastic! I still catch myself wondering how in the world they make a TV that looks this good at such an affordable price. Vizio has made a lot of improvements with the smart TV software and it functions a lot better than our older model. Vizio even has a built in 'Watch Free' app now that acts a lot like standard comcast cable but it is streaming which is really cool. Several good channels on there.
I will say that we also purchased a 4K Fire Stick and prefer the Fire Stick software a little better. It seems to be a little more responsive but really just a preference.

Good TV for the money, has pretty good picture. Bought as open box but when I picked it up it had no box. When I asked why the employee said "cause it's an open box". To which I replied "exactly, but this is no box". Not a huge deal but I like to keep the boxes for my tvs in case I sell it or I move. The one complaint I do have about the TV is sometimes the volume stops working and I have to turn the TV off then back on and it always starts working again. Hopefully it's not a sign of other bad things to happen

Picture quality is excellent for this price level. I have had display problems (audio but no video) which require the TV to be unplugged for a moment. There is a reboot option in the menu which sometimes works but I found it easiest to just unplug it. This TV uses the SmartCast platform, which you cannot download any apps onto the TV directly! I use a separate Fire Box to download apps (which then utilizes 1 of the 3 HDMI ports).

Very Glitchy & Shuts Down (Photo of it shut down)

I ordered this in August when moving into my new apartment and it started out as great. It's now October and at least every day it becomes unresponsive to the remote or pressing the "on" button. It's like it get's confused if you press a button too quickly and totally shuts down. The screen goes black and it's almost like luck to get it to turn back on - sometimes it does immediately, sometimes you have to wait a while. One day it took so long that I gave up trying until the very end of the day. Sometimes when I'm watching netflix and am fast forwarding, the screen looks like it glitches and it kicks me out of netflix completely and I have to go back into it. I'm usually not super bothered by tech stuff and understand it's usually user error, but this TV seems so fragile to anything! If I press "play" and then "pause" too quickly, it could even shut down. It's so confusing and frustrating!

Alas, my old 58" Vizio died so it was time to purchase a new living room TV. This 65" is the biggest TV I've ever bought and I am certainly impressed. The picture quality is not lost in the large screen size and the ease of use is fantastic. My mom, who is... shall we say... technologically challenged.... has no problem using Alexa to operate the TV and she has become a pro at using all the smart tv features like the endless apps that come installed on the TV. Highly HIGHLY recommend!!! This "value" TV works just as well as a $2000 counterpart, if not better!

So I had picked up one of the 50 inch Vizios and was not impressed at all, tried a Samsung 7 series as well which I was not impressed by either. This 65 inch Vizio TV surprised me how good it looks. Everything from movies to TV to Games looked great out the box. The Dark scenes stand out and the colors look great for an amazing value. The one minor flaw I saw is every once in a while you get some slight shadowing around bright wording in dark scenes and it will do this weird blurring in some streaming from time to time.

Love the picture, however if you don’t have a sound bar don’t bother..... the remote lags it takes a good 15-20 seconds, maybe longer, for the volume to pop up. we’ll be returning it. The TV also spazzes out, closes out of netflix, and will have static screen.

I originally went in for a different tv I had seen on one of Best Buy’s online ads, unfortunately my store wouldn’t get the tv I wanted until the next day and because the price for this one wasn’t much different the saleswoman showed it to me. It had better features than the tv I wanted for about $80 more but it was well worth it and it’s quite easy to use. The HDR makes everything I’ve watched on it look amazing. One of the best tv’s I’ve ever bought and the price was pretty cheap.

Perfect entry level big screen tv. Great picture at this price point. Could be a little brighter, but not a deal breaker.
