Chose this over the Apple TV. Looked to have more functions and uses. Love it moment it turned on.

This unit is great! I love being able to watch movies and/or TV series at my leisure without the interruption of commercials!

The sales guy told us that this TV needed this item to be wifi usable and he was right. It is a marvelous piece of technology and even I can understand how to use it.

Love this item for being able to access Netflix without a computer. Downside is the double sided remote. Kept punching buttons on the underside until I got used to it.

I had Roku before but the advantage this has over Roku is this has youtube and Roku does not.

Not a lot of devices manage media files from home network and allow browsing at the same time. It has Google TV and android apps.

For the money, this Google TV device can't be beat! Give it a try - you won't regret it!

This is a great internet connection device for your tv. The keyboard on the back of the remote makes web surfing easy.

instead of buying my mom a smart TV this item allowed her to use her not so smart TV to browse the internet

We bought this to watch VuDu movies. The app doesn't work and its a known problem that they are NOT trying to fix. The Sony was much more of a bargain since the remote was qwerty and the VuDu app actually worked.

Makes any TV a Smart TV...Easy to set up and a good price...Got this one with a $20 discount

Thought we would try this as a substitute for satellite TV but just wouldn't get enough we cared to watch. Not the product for us.

Wanted to convert a regular TV to a "Smart" TV for using to access the internet and use for Skype. Only had a handful of apps to use and would have wider range of usage by just buying $15 HDMI cord to connect to the TV. Of course it took awhile to set it up to even discover the limits. Wasted half a day registering an account and the box. Took it back pronto.

I bought the box to watch Netflix and surf the web (a little bit) on my TV. The keypad that came with the box was the selling point. However, it did not work with my router and was not able to download streaming videos from Netflix. Returned it and got a Blu-ray player almost at the same price, worked fine both as a disk player and Netflix console.

Right out of the box! I should've returned it but I didn't. Says Google TV but no. It's Android 3.0 and there are no updates...no hacks...u are better getting a cable to connect an old cellphone to your TV than this...

I purchased this to watch movies on my hard drive. Was not able to fast forward any of my media. I returned it and got the western digital WDlive. Very happy with WDlive.
