65" Vizio M series tv. I have had this for over a month and I think it is a very good tv.To get better I would have had to pay over $400 more since this was on sale. The black color is dark and is darker with local dimming on , but you'll sometimes see a halo .especially when movies credits are being shown.Sometimes when panning you can see darker bands in the back, but it is infrequent and is definitely not a deal breaker. This tv has a VA panel . Picture quality is awesome but you will need to do some calibration.Motion blur is not a problem.Using enhanced refresh rate on sports and other live tv comes out really good but don't use it on movies or other prerecorded shows or you will get the soap opera effect.Judder is not a problem No problem hooking up to my wifi.I use Netflix and it loads very fast.Shows stream with out a hitch,no judder or anything.I don't game so I do not how how this tv performs for that.Sound is average but I have the tv hooked up to a sound system. The picture menu has alot of different settings to fine tune the picture so you may have to play around with to get it the way you like.

i've done alot of research on the various LED 65" models out there (samsung, LG, sony and vizio) - i settled for an open box vizio 65" and at first i thought it was a good choice. the picture is ok in brightly lit sequences, however in dark/black scenes the picture just turns horrible. any lit object receives a halo effect. and that's what most of the reviews mentioned in the comparisons. i returned the tv to get the samsung 6350 which is being delivered today. i have no doubt that this tv is superior and my review for that product will be positive. best buy return policy gives me peace of mind knowing they stand behind their products. i received a full refund on the vizio and will always purchase my electronics from them.

Great smart TV for the price

This TV has a great picture at 250hz refresh rate compared to many similar smart TVs for this same price with only 120hz. The sound quality is amazing, as vizio has added the element of a built in surround sound and it really does sound like that. The only thing that I haven't loved is the lack of smart apps like HBOGO (samsung exclusive) and a web browser, otherwise all the apps are easy to use and nice to have. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

High End Picture Quality/Low End Price

Got the M652i-B2 last month. At just $1,299 for a 65", I was sceptical but impressed with the review I'd read before I bought. After setting it up and setting the picture to some published calibration marks, I can now officially say "WOW"! The contrast and detail of this picture absolutely floored me. The DEEEEEEEEEP Blacks and bright white's with the backlight at just 37, brightness at 45, and contrast at 64 made colors POP and details show. Basketball was great, even with the smoothing and anti-blur turned off. Last time I saw an LED TV close to this was when Samsung introduced the first "local dimming" model 8000 a few years ago and it was a $4,500 set. Even with today's pricing this set's picture quality "meets or exceed's" sets running $2,000-$2,500. VIZIO, I believe, has a set that rivals the best Sony's and Samsung's for significantly less $$$. an EXCEPTIONAL value! P.S.THIS week, t's dropped to an INCREDIBLE $999.99! (I got a nice price match CREDIT to my account)

Great picture. I finally fixed voice sync trouble

Great picture. Great Price. I feel obligated to write a review so that others can know about the sound. After connecting the cable box using HDMI directly to the TV and then TV to a sound bar using optical cable, I could not get the audio of voices to sync perfectly with the video. Even without the sound bar, having the cable box connected directly to the TV, the built in TV speakers did not sync well with the video. Adjustments on the cable box, TV lip sync function, and sound bar lip sync function did not help at all. Several calls to Geek squad, the Samsung sound bar support and cable TV support were of no help. Here is how I solved it--- Connect the cable box to a sound bar with HDMI (you will need to buy a sound bar that has HDMI input and output as well as optical input) , then use HDMI to connect the sound bar to the TV. To watch Netflix or Amazon, you need to also connect the TV to the sound bar using the TV optical out – or, use the ARC port of the TV when connecting from the sound bar to the TV. You will need an HDMI cable that supports ARC. The audio and video from cable box (as well as Netflix or Amazon) now sync perfectly.

    Great TV for Price

This TV provides excellent options for its price. Extremely easy to set up. As you will find with all other big TV's, the sound requires additional support to capture low range sounds. I have the same issues with my Sony, Panasonics, Samsung, and LG. I like televisions and found myself in the market for a 65" and this one made the team when I seen it at $500 off for $999. You can't find this quality at this price. Vizio has came along way from just 5 years ago. The picture when set up in vivid mode delivers a nice crisp picture from a manufacturers setting. I'm sure it can deliver a better picture if professionally setup but I don't see spending $250 which is 1/4 the cost of the TV. You can't go wrong with this TV at this price. I wish it has a video Coax input for my Wii. I'll have to see if there is a Coax to HDMI adapter out there. What is real nice about this TV is the remote control. It has a full keyboard on the back of the remote with backlighting that makes this TV real nice when surfing into the APPS and, typing in passwords, and user ids.

I spent a lot of time reading all the reviews before deciding on the Vizio M652I-B2. The M-Series is the best bang for your buck, if you are looking for quality and not just the cheapest price. If you dont want to spend the extra for the P-series, this is your best bet. Watch out for the economy and black friday series unless you want to be disappointed. Be sure to calibrate it as soon as possible before you spent too much time watching it in the store display mode. Search around a bit on the web for settings to make this display really shine.

After 8 TV exchanges(Im Picky about PQ) Eureka!

For the last 30 days, I bought 8 different LED TV's (Plasma is to dim for me, yes even Samsung F8500) all with something missing, from each and returned them all (like I said I am picky). I tend look for "Pop" in picture, vibrant colors, deep blacks, great contrast, and also great input lag for gaming. Of the 8 TV's tried one would have great input lag, but poor picture quality, the next it was vice versa. Finally I found my TV. This Vizio. It has it all. Gaming, Bluray, satellite, non HD signals, it calibrates perfectly( for me anyway). Don't hesitate, save some $ and buy This TV. Settings Below may or may not work for your particular set. I have 65" 2014 model. My Settings (Standard setting)-changes to custom once you change any of the values. Auto bright control OFF Backlight 80 Brightness 49 Contrast 82 Color 63 Tint 0 Sharpness 1 Color temp Computer All settings off in advanced( Maybe try Smooth motion effect, I like it high)

    Great TV for the money.

We are very impressed with the picture quality of this TV. We bought this to replace a failing LED DLP TV that we thought had a great picture also until we saw video on this TV. A couple things our old TV had that we wish this one had is a timer to turn the TV to the correct channel to watch a scheduled show and also a guide button that after scanning all the over an antennae TV networks, would list what was being broadcast or what was going to be broadcast in the next 8 hours or so. This TV's remote has a guide button on it, but it serves the same function as the info button. I don't know why there is 2 buttons on the remote that do the same function! But other than those to small quibbles we are very happy with this TV. The picture is great and we always use our sound system when watching something we want good audio with anyway so the average speakers of the TV really aren't much of a concern for us.

I bought this tv on Black Friday after doing lots of research on which tv worked for me. This tv was a breeze to setup. Within 10 minutes of having it out of the box I had it setup on my tv stand, hooked to my cable, dvd, and Sonos system and my wireless. I am usually terrible at setting up technology but it was extremely simple. The picture is excellent and was amazing for Thursday night football. Incredible.

This TV, both in the store and at my home, looks amazing. We replaced a Panasonic 55ST50 with this Vizio and the picture quality is better or even on the Vizio. The plasma we replaced made crazy humming noises from the power supply (i believe), but had a great picture... that this Vizio is as good as or better! We have barely gotten it setup and started playing with it over the past couple of days, but, the features are great and a full qwerty keyboard on the back makes the app use a breeze! Speakers are pretty bad compared to the plasma we replaced, but, we knew they would be going in.

The TV is awesome. Picture is great, sound is great and not sure why some gave it bad reviews. Replaced a 2008 Samsung 50" plasma and the pic is unbelievable. Right now I have most computer generated things turned off (motion blur, black level enhancements, etc) and the picture is great - movies, sports whatever....it all looks good. Viewing angle is also amazing!!!!!!
