This television is packed with high end television features which offers a lot of value for a television in this price range. Watched gravity on blu-ray and the blacks are deep and the movie looked great on the television screen. Can't wait to watch HDR movies in the future. What makes this television stand out is that you don't need a remote anymore all the settings are done through the smart phone app. Also come with a android tablet that serves as a full time remote and smart tv app setup. Which works well using chrome cast type setup and the tablet is actually legit and fast. Would recommend to anyone and would recommend getting a extended warranty through square trade way more affordable and legit.

We're glad to hear that you're enjoying your product! If you want a couple ideas for UHD + HDR (Dolby Vision) streaming, you could try Marco Polo on Netflix, or Mad Max: Fury Road through VUDU. Both of those services have quite a few Dolby Vision titles available, and even more standard 4K UHD titles. Thank you for your feedback! VIZIO

This TV has all the latest and greatest features at a fraction of the price of the few other TV's that have these features (HDR, casting, HDMI2.0a, etc.). Picture quality is as good as the LG OLED and Sammy top of the line TV's. Slick tablet remote. This TV has everything I was looking for at half the price (or less) of the other TV's mentioned above. AVSFORUM reviews are raving about this TV. Very satisfied with the purchase, and Best Buy delivery and setup was excellent.

Bar none this is the best deal in TV's right now. I finally got rid of my trusted Panasonic Plasma (2009) with this Vizio P65. The picture quality with respect to color reproduction, contrast ratio, overall clarity and fast moving screen is second to none. This includes the top end Samsung UHD and Sony Bravia TVs. Smartcast takes some getting used to as one is not used to browsing for Titles on a phone/tablet. Googlecast needs to be extended so that one can browse titles on-screen as opposed to the tablet. The speakers are anemic but I route all audio through an AVR anyway. In short, if you care about picture quality please do yourself a favour and by this TV.

Pros: - 4k - HDR10 and Dolby Vision make this comparable to LG in terms of HDR features. - Google Cast support is nearly as good as having Android TV. Prefer this to some of the other tv OS options. - Well priced compared to similar televisions. Cons: - Video sometimes freezes on connected devices (audio continues playing). Need to restart the tv to get video to work again. - The SmartCast Android app required me to sign into it as if it were a wifi connection. This was an unnecessary security risk for my phone and was avoidable if Vizio would accept other way(s) of receiving my wifi credentials.

Well the first t.v. I got was busted (delivered that way) but the guys delivering it had no idea what the tablet was or anything I think I got the first one from my best buy (trend setter). This tv is comparable to all the others out there. I did my research and found the 2 Newest LG's and Samsung's to be ranked right next to this guy, but this was half the price.Plus its got built in Chromecast which is amazing, transferred my old Chromecast to my other t.v.. My only issue is the tablet remote.I love android always have always will but the buttons are a bit funky but you get used to it.this may be me but I can't use the tablet to control my sound bar(older Boston acoustics) this may be the problem.I'm going to get the new sound bar from vizio with built in cast when it comes out.I highly recommend this low priced t.v. 4x4x4 chroma , future proof hdmi, ips screen for wide angle viewing and the glare isn't there.the in-store model didn't do it justice the picture is crisp clear and just all around great.

Great picture, good speakers and this is a rare find in a tv now, zero light bleeding. Is easy to understand and use, love the little tablet/ controller. Great price vs quality ratio. This is the 3rd Vizio I have own and I would keep buying the brand if the quality keeps been great.

    Best 4k for the money

You won't find a better 4k tv for the price. Owned for a month now. Local dimming is a main selling point, and does help contrast levels, but can be annoying as there seems to be a millisecond lag. Won't notice with movies, but can be noticeable when gaming (also when cycling through photos). Not a deal breaker though, and it can be switched off if need be. I don't mind it too much, so it's still on. Tablet that comes with it is a nice touch, but if you have an audio set up with A/V reciever, you'll want to check the compatibility of tablet and your receiver. My receiver has an app for the tablet, so I use it as a universal remote. Pretty sweet. You do have to make sure to point the tablet at the TV to get it to register your button pushes sometimes, not as responsive as a regular remote. That said, the google Cast feature is great, don't think I'll ever buy a tv without it going forward. If you're debating between the M series and P series (2016s)... I ultimately chose P series (65inch) due to the dimming zone count. I'm happy with the purchase, but figure the M series would have been just as good if you disable the dimming zone feature, plus the M series has a built in receiver, which is missing on the P. All in all, solid TV well worth the price. Thanks for listening, you're a good listener. love you. - Some dude.

I've seen lots of reviews where people complain about the remote or the monitor not being 'smart' because the apps don't reside on the monitor itself, and that they have to download apps to their phone or tablet. I have friends who have other brands of smart TVs. Guess what? They have to download apps to the TV itself. Every app they download takes up memory on the TV and makes the TV's processor slower and slower. With the apps running from your phone or tablet, the monitor can do what it does best...give you the best picture of any TV in its price range, and better than some more expensive TVs. People always complain about new technology they don't understand. Research the Vizio monitors and you'll be impressed.

The P65 has the best bang for the buck in the industry. Period. It has all the latest tech: Full Array Local Dimming, Wide Color Gamut, Dolby Vision, HDR (promised within 90 days), 4k, built-in Google Cast and solid motion processing, making it virtually future proof. About 10 years ago I became semi serious about AV. I remember the Holy Grail of TV has always been replicating CRT's black level. OLED is that tech, but the P65 takes you over 95% of the way there at a price most can afford. That is the real value of this TV. The fact that it has all the future technologies studios will be utilizing over the next decade makes it a great choice for today. I highly recommend you give this TV a try.

This TV(home theater display) is amazing. The price is unbeatable, the features are usually reserved for much more expensive TVs, and the ability to make it near perfect right out of th box via the included tablet remote is unparalleled. I had originally purchased the LG 65UH8500 which was touted by LG as their best 4K LED ever. It was returned within a week and I put the order in for the P65-C1. Thank goodness I did. I have never owned a TV that I was so excited to watch every day. The black levels are as dark as any I've seen (aside from OLED, maybe), the colors pop and are ultra bright, and motion blur is non-existent. I can't recommend this TV highly enough. You will not be disappointed.

Just about every other review I found is true and I feel the same. I had a terrible experience with a way more expensive Samsung which led me to this purchase. I'll keep this short yes the remote takes time, yes the upscale on cable tv is not its strength, love that it's a full array for the price, 4K and UHD is where it's at!! If you get it on sale or better yet you can find open box sales because people don't like the remote and cast feature if you score it for under 1,500 the only thing better would be two!!!

Every time I watch a show, the picture quality amazes me. The black levels are incredible, best I've seen besides the OLED TVs. Can't beat it for the price point. XBOX ONE games look great as well (I've played Arkham Knight & Gears Of War Ultimate so far). I've used the streamcasting minimally so far, but 4K YouTube videos worked perfectly. TV also looks classy with the brushed metal frame.

65 Inch Series Has "Split Screen" Picture Issues

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Opened up the box, plugged TV in and the startup screen "V" was double imaged. I was like hmm, the "V" usually is only 1 "V" during startup. I then observed all inputs having a duplicate image. A "split screen effect" I called bestbuy, they contacted Vizio, Vizio told me to take pictures and they would need a tech to come out and open the TV. I was like no way, I'll just return this for an exchange at bestbuy. Currently I am still waiting for the exchange for a new TV. I have read 3 reviews on here already with people experiencing same "split screen double image" from all inputs. I really hope this TV is not a lemon. I wrote Vizio and they have not responded. It seems this issue is causing a bunch of returns.

I'm currently waiting for my 3rd Vizio P65 tv due to screen uniformity issues including the yellow bar in the middle of the screen and different color panels on each side of the tv. Video dropout issues are something else to look out for, I experienced that several times regardless of what input I chose or hdmi cord I used along with a few other bugs not related to firmware with the first set. I'm also waiting for the hdr10 firmware update so I can use my Samsung K8500 to watch 4k blurays. The update should be coming at the end of June. Overall, Best Buy has been helpful but I hate spending so much money on something that has so many issues, but if you can find one that works correctly and looks correct the tv is well worth the money. I also think with the coming Hdr10 update and each update after the tv will get better and better. Vizio has come up with something really good this year and I hope to find a p65 that I can enjoy for a few years without having issues.

This TV has an amazing picture and for the price I am not sure you will find a better value. However I am not a fan of the tablet as a remote at all. It is hard to figure out where things are and how to search for shows on my uVerse guide. We finally gave up on the tablet and went back to using our Logitech Harmony remote, and only use the tablet when we are streaming content.

I have been a die-hard Samsung customer and have owned several LED T.V.s from them. It took some convincing and research to want to give another brand a shot. I couldn't ignore the facts about this T.V. and everything has held true. The picture quality is phenomenal. Rich dark blacks and vivid popping colors all executed evenly with the back-lit LED design with active zones. Stunning to say the least. The included tablet is a little quirky for navigating but not a deal breaker by any means. Vizio has done a great job with this series and am a true beleiver.

I've had this TV for 2 months now and I absolutely love it. I had returned a Samsung KS8000 because of blooming and light bleed. This Vizio blows it away with the black levels. It's awesome having both HDR formats as I have been more impressed with the Dolby Vision titles on Vudu than the HDR10 Blu-rays but they look stunning as well. Easily the best $2000 65" this year.

Ok, technically this is a "Monitor" since it does not have a Tuner - but does anybody plug their TV into an antenna? Great Quality - Super Sharp. Super Bright or Super Black - whatever it needs to be. The included mini tablet is handy, but doesn't do anything that you can't get going with your mobile phone - but again - it's a nice thing to have. All in all, this line of Vizio TV's are rival any model!
