The initial setup of this sound bar took over two hours and a call to support. I had the same experience with another Vizio Soundbar, both of which worked significantly better after we were able to get a software update installed. Other than the initial setup the soundbar has been great. Sound quality is decent, especially at this price point and overall it is fairly easy to use.

I believe the weak link in large TV Viewing is the sound system. A 3.1 system is a great way to go. The center speaker is needed for proper dialogue enhancement. Watching movies is now a great experience. Works seamlessly with my Samsung TV. The price is right. You may be able to buy a better sound system, but it will cost way more then it is worth. This system is more then adequate.

Purchased this Vizio soundbar at Best Buy because I moved my TV to a location across from my only cable outlet in my living room and in the process lost the capability of surround sound for my tv. Now I have surround sound anywhere in my living room however I want to set it up. A little tricky to set up but just follow all the directions to the letter and you will be fine !

For the price this is a decent product. Easy to hook up, easy to use. Subwoofer won't knock pictures off the wall, but it works

I know the general rule of thumb for most home theatre enthusiasts is to buy your setup bit by bit. Start with the receiver and left and right front speakers. Then add in a center channel speaker. Then start looking at rear speakers. And if you're really an enthusiast, you can add in ceiling speakers! However, not everyone absolutely needs an elaborate speaker set up. Not everyone wants to take a week to install such setups, and not everyone wants to spend the money for such a setup. I certainly want to do this in the future, but my current living situation begs for me to stick with a soundbar. This soundbar was chosen for two reasons: Chromecast built-in and 3.1 set up. I've seen lots of 2.1 soundbars and 5.1 sound bars out there but it seems oddly rare to see a 3.1 setup. I jumped when this went on sale. The sound gets loud, the bass rumbles, it's exactly what I wanted. There's enough configuration in there to help if you notice audio sync issues and Chromecast built-in makes it easy to play music. While there are separate "music" and "movie" modes, I leave the suondbar on "movie" mode all the time. Music mode makes music feel a little too flat for my liking. If your TV speakers were as low volume and bad as mine are, this is soundbar is a no brainer.

This product works well for gaming, streaming movies, DVD/Blu-Ray and anything we have it connected to for clear, crisp, clean sound.

I purchased this soundbar for two main reasons: clarity of dialogue and sporting events. I'm definitely happy on both counts. The center speaker has helped me to understand dialogue a lot better, and the great sound, especially from the subwoofer makes sporting events feel truly "live". I can't wait for NASCAR to start in Daytona to really test this out!

This is just a fantastic soundbar system. Good enough for folks staying in apartment. Can easily fill in a small to medium room with quality sound. Casting is sometimes problem however I feel it just needs some firmware or software upgrades. Apart from that it has good connectivity options with good quality speaker with very decent sound.

My 60" TV has a great picture, but the sound really sucks. After much research, I chose this soundbar and subwoofer for the volume as well as sound clarity. With the extra center speaker, dialogue is much easier to understand. The subwoofer provides an extra level of experience.

I bought this because the speakers on my new Vizio TV stunk and the price was quite nice. I didn't really pay attention to the SmartCast feature but it turns out it's pretty convenient and I'm actually using it. The center channel/speaker makes a HUGE difference in movies and anything else. The clarity of dialog is such a welcome addition and I'm glad it has its own dedicated level. The overall sound quality is great and there's more tonal range than you might expect. The sub is really impressive - I've had others the same size that left a lot to be desired but if you dial this in to suit what you're listening to, oh man, it's great. I do wish there were more presets beyond movie/music and I wish Night mode made more of a difference because having to tweak things and turn off the sub depending on the situation gets a little old. One last thing... This thing can get LOUD. I live in an apartment so I can't crank it as much as I'd like to sometimes but with what I have done the sound is great. With everything dialed in I can get an awesome, full, punchy sound or something crystal clear depending on the source. I'm VERY happy with my choice and I'm actually kinda thankful my TV had such terrible speakers!

I purchased this for an older 50" tv with not so nice sound. It was relatively easy to set up. I use it also for Spotify. Nice sound I was concerned that it may not have enough base, however, my wife thinks it has too much. I think it is about the right amount and I have it turned down a bit. Very pleased with the system and the price was right.

Great sound and easy to install. Definitely a great deal
