Excellent remote. Love the additional features it has versus the one that came with the TV. Hands free voice control & lost remote finder are very nice features that work well. I really like the private listening feature witch allows you to connect headphones to the remote control and listen quietly. And also the remote has a USB rechargeable battery connection. Battery level can be displayed on TV screen briefly with a verbal command.

This remote works perfectly for my needs. Although I may not use voice command much, it works when I DO use it. The charge lasts for several weeks and charges within an hour. Plus the headphones connection option is a plus.

I bought this when my last Roku remote to my bedroom tv was damaged. This is, hands down, the best remote. Roku remotes are so small they are easily lost but the voice feature to find the remote always comes in handy. It’s beeps loud enough and long enough for you to find it. It’s rechargeable and a notification pops up when the battery is low, so you never have to worry about having the right sized batteries. Overall 10/10. Had this for about a year and I’m upset I did get one sooner. Slowly been buying more for the other Roku tvs in the house.

First, no need for batteries therefore no more littering the planet with used batteries! The voice function is hands free and, for me, is the most useful feature of this remote... especially the lost remote feature. The hands free voice remote has responded as far as 18 feet away. The remote seems to holds a charge well with average use although I only use it a couple of hours a day at most. I was away for 2 weeks and the remote required charging after sitting unused for the 2 weeks. No big deal. There are also a couple of buttons you can set-up to open a favorite app. Otherwise it's about the same as previous remotes... only better!

The standard remote with the TCL 4 Series Roku TVs need direct line of sight to the sensor. Well, I have a TCL Roku Soundbar that I love, but it is a little too tall and blocks that sensor. I debated whether to get the Voice Remote or the Pro because I don't know whether I will use the private listening mode or not. In the end, the rechargeable feature is what sold me. Super easy to pair to the TV. Power on, press and hold the Home button for 5 seconds and select a new remote. I have yet to assign the favorite buttons. Not sure why Roku decided to display headphones on the box because it DOES NOT come with them. I have several sets so not a big deal for me.

The remote is similar to the original remote but this one has voice feature to speak and find the show or channel being searched. Also two programmable buttons to get to the most watched channels or streaming services used. The remote is also fairly easy to program for the TV being used with.

I bought this remote because the original remote took a cola bath. I love my grandchildren but can't take your eyes of them for a second. PROS: Love the added mute button. This new remote seems to have a better microphone than my original remote as it picks up what I'm saying with better accuracy. I have found the hands free option quite useful a few times as well. The battery is at 67% with 23 days of use where my old remote was a battery hog. I appreciate the two added buttons to set my own favorite channels/apps. CONS: I don't have two of the pre-set apps so those buttons are wasted. I have a second tv with ROKU and there is nothing wrong with the remote for that device however this remote is definitely better and I will be getting a new remote for that tv as well.

This remote works really well and I think it’s cool that you can charge it instead of using batteries. You would hate for it to die and you don’t have batteries at home. But the charge lasts so long I’d say the same as the battery life. I also like the idea that it comes with headphones if you want to watch tv quietly. I would definitely recommend these.

I loved this remote. I was able to pair with a Roku stick+ (which is no longer available so I was afraid I couldn’t find a remote because I lost the original remote). The fact that it allows me to control volume and turn on/off the tv it also great. I no longer need to use the tv remote (it was annoying to have to used two remotes to use a TV).

Love the remote and ability to say “hey Roku” and ask for what you want to watch and it will show you where you can watch it. Great feature of being able to scroll through pages rather than one channel at a time, just wish it came with a guide to some of the great features it has rather than having to look them up on line.

I’ve bought 3 Roku remotes online. They sorta, kinda worked if you pressed real hard and held it close to the television. I wasn’t expecting much when I saw this one in the store. THIS ONE ACTUALLY WORKS!

I love this remote! The reason i purchased this was because my husband snores when he sleeps and i can not watch a movie i would just put subtitles on and read LOL! So i got my remote and now i can hear my movies and fall asleep.

Charged it up, then programed it right on the tv under Roku, settings, add remote. Works great.

I bought this to connect to the TCL in my office that did not come with a headphone remote. The voice remote functionality works very well, I should probably use it more, but I'm just so used to using the arrow keys. But, I love being able to watch live TV with headphones, which I do daily, and really love being able to get up and walk around, leave the room, and still hear the TV.
