The combination of She & Him has had some outstanding moments. They put a great spin on the old 50s/60s pop song with a modern twist. M. Ward plays and produces the heck out of this album, while Zooey croons with delight.

S&H really grew into their own on their second record. As good as Vol. 1 is, this is just that much stronger. Their sound was made for vinyl too. So retro, warm and cozy.
