I have been buying Vornado Fans, humidifiers and heaters for many, many years now. The last two purchases have me disappointed. It makes me wonder if someone bought them out. The fans don't work or have the quality they used to. They don't move the air with the gusto they used to and they were darned quiet back then also. While they are still quiet and I really appreciate that, I live in Southern California now, and am trying to save on my AC by using fan technology. It does reduce my consumption of AC, but before I got this fan, I bought a Rowenta Fan that is equally quiet but the fan blades are much larger, even though it doesn't use the Vornado Technology of moving air. The Vornado has a very small fan head and that might be part of the problem. I bought 3 Vornado smaller fans like the one I had had for ages about 6 years ago. I had been using the two identical ones I had had for over 10 years. I bought two as gifts for people without AC in Wisconsin. One broke within the first week. I gave the one I kept for myself to this woman. It also broke within two more weeks. The electricity just failed to move it. I got them both back and tested them myself. They just didn't have any power supplied to them now. I did notice that the new fans had a different color logo in the middle. That made me wonder if the Company had changed hands or if I was getting black market copies of the original Vornado. I clipped the cords and sent them back, getting a full refund for those two fans. I had given the other one away as a gift also, but never heard back that there had been anything wrong or not working on it. Something is just not the same with these fans anymore.

I love it only thing i wish was it had a remote. Small but as powerful as a shop fan and quiet!

Very quiet and stylish, somewhat powerful and easy to set up. Just wish it was a little bigger and taller.

Very powerful fan for its size, I use it in my hallway in my house. It works better than all my other fans in my house. It is pretty quiet for when I use it at full speed . My Dogs like to lay down in front of it.The fan is worth the price. They come with a 10 year warranty.

This fan is super quiet and potent. I would definitely recommend it.

Vornado has been my go to fan for many years. This dc motor fan is quieter yet just as powerful as the regular versions. I am hoping to see some positive results on the electric bill in the upcoming months. Only complaint is I wish it had a remote.

Pros: 1. sturdy 2.pushed lot of air 3. Energy efficient 4. Good looks Cons: 1. No remote 2. No oscillation Otherwise vornao is great but they have to adapt to latest technology especially when droe has a lot to offer

I love this fan! It's so quiet, but it cools my bedroom perfectly. When it's really hot, I will use it in conjunction with my window unit. It's perfect for winters in Texas--right now it's 38 degrees, but it's going to be almost 70 tomorrow.

Small fan but very powerful. I placed it in my living room and immediately felt the difference. The downsize for me I just wish it was a tad taller, oscillate and came with a remote control. Was a good deal for me I caught it a The Deal Of The Day sale. Shipped fast for a store pickup received it within 3 days.

Have several of these fans...love them! They are heavy duty and well built. A Good buy. I love the white color for my bedroom.

I like the fact that it is compact (especially at the base). We have had other, larger fans that used up a lot of floor space. We picked this fan for two main reasons. 1. It is "Energy Smart." We run the fan every night - regardless of the season. 2. It's a Vornado. We have Vornado fans that have lasted us for years. A couple of years ago, we bought fans made by a different manufacturer (from a different retailer). They were sleek and pretty, but they quit working and made the most horrific noise we couldn't use them. They were a waste of money. This fan doesn't have some of the "bells and whistles" that other do, but is functional and hopefully will last more that 18 months. The one drawback, is that I wish we could raise it another few inches.

Best fan ever! I previously had a Vornado fan with no tower and it was a hassle trying to find a place to put it and reach my bed. Love that this has a stand. Thinking of buying another for our living room.

A super cool way of keeping cool, while also saving energy. The unit is energy efficient model (designation DC at the end), and costs a little more -- pays off because it will save on energy bills. Nevertheless, the motor is designed to be more efficient, and does not generate heat like the non DC models-- so the fan also stays super cool!!!

so quiet, only way to sleep at night, put it right by you on bed and you won't hear it on lowest setting, save money on AC!

We only buy Vornado fan and nothing else. We have about 6 of them in our house. one for each room and dining room and living room. No need to turn on AC since we have these awesome fan to save us on electricity during summer time. Thank You Vornado

Powerful fan. I like it because it’s good for cooling while sleeping, fan noise when on high, and drying. Variable speed is awesome making the fan very quiet or just the right noise if you like noise when sleeping. I’ve also used it to dry floors more quickly.

They make very fine products. I bought the heater and it works pretty good in a controlled atmosphere such as the bathroom with the door shut kept it spot on. Even when you open the door and shut the door behind you, it kicked on for just a little bit with its smart feature. The fan is very good also. DC brushless, variable speed. Too easy to find the right comfort level and it will drop it 2° with the window open on a cold night and drop at 10 degrees!
