This unit is great, heats a 500sq ft bedroom within 20 min to the set temp. Is a little noisy, ~40db, but is liveable. Super light and portable, works as a personal space heater too, plus a 5 yr warranty.

This heater works well as indicated. We have a large living space but didn't feel comfortable with its competitors. We've had it for a month or two and it has done well.

I bought this heater for emergency use in case of central heating broke down. Design was looking good, useful automatic heating setting, small space use and reasonable price. I would recommend to buy this.

I always wait a month or two before I submit a review for a major purchase like this Vornado IR400 InfraRed heater. It worked great for about a month, warmed our bedroom nicely during northeast Ohio's single digit January winter and now it blows cold and I'm out 179.99. I tried resetting the power to the unit. Set the thermostat all the way to 75F, still blows cold in a 62F room! Now I have to run around with Vornado - obtain a Return Material Authorization, re-package the heater, go to the UPS store and all that hassle. I spent good money thinking I was getting something reliable. Turns out to be not reliable at all.
