This fan is portable enough to set in most places. A little heavy which I like and throws out an abundant volume of air. The remote is real handy. I like this fan. Durable construction.

This fan is pretty good considering its size and could match the airflow output of a larger fan, however it has a tight beam of air, so its much better for personal use as a desk fan. It would be too weak to cool off a large room, would be better off placing a $20 box fan in the window instead. I have the classic vornado 550B variable speed dial fan from the 90's, same size and can blow twice the amount of air this can. However, if you really need a fan that goes to a low speed without hardly any noise, especially if you need to have a fan on while listening to quiet classical passages in a home theatre system, then this fan is for you. this fan runs very slow on speeds 1-10, 99 being available speeds. High speed is noisy, and the plastic blades cut the air with the sounds of a $10 honeywell fan from walmart, so with your eyes closed, you probably won't tell which fan is being used. Yes, a $10 fan will probably do the same job as this fan, but mabye not as nice looking and no cool touch display to impress your friends.

I will start with the negative. The remote control does not work very well. You must be close to the fan in order to operate the remote. Very frustrating when you spend $100 for something that doesn't work as well as it should. When you run at high speed it is quite noisy. On a positive note it is very efficient at moving the air. It is also economical to use... with the brushless motor. Overall I would say I am dissatisfied with this product. I will be returning it.

This fan is great at moving air in a small room. The variable fan speed and remote control make it super convenient. The fan is also relatively quiet even at high speeds

I gave it the oportunity ... but fact is that model 610 DC is better in all aspects. The above statement does not mean this is bad at all.

It is a real nice fan with a remote and 99 speeds. It was just a little too small to use in my living room. It would make a great fan for a smaller room like a bedroom.

This is a strong little fan. The fan can be adjusted vertically. The speeds range from 1 to 99. After the speed of 50 the fan gets pretty loud, but it does move the air without a problem.

Bought it due to its DC features... Truth is that is too small having too much noice on high speed.

This thing is pretty powerful. Do not let the size fool you. It is stronger than my box fan on high or my circular fan. It comes with a remote and can fill up a room because of how strong it is despite its size. Put it by a wall and it seems to push the air along it and you really can feel it feel up a room. It's also not very loud either.

This fan works great in the bedroom to keep that air circulating and cool.

I purchased this for a small room and it is quiet enough but still powerful. I run it 24/7 with no issues. My first Vornado but I'm hooked.

Small but powerful..remote control is a joke. Sometimes it works and sometimes it's not.

I love this fan so much i bought 4. The timer funtion is great

The fan was great and used only at night to help cool a normal size bedroom. After 19 days the fan went down to the lowest setting and was not able to cool unless one stood directly in front of it. It was not worth the money paid.
