This Electric Ukulele is sturdy and well built exterior. But unfortunately they skimped on the core electronics and strings. The two pickups are very cheap in quality. After 3 days I began to experience an annoying hum. I tried several options including swapping out the poor quality strings and replaced them with a set with much higher quality. This did not resolve the issue. I also replaced the poor quality amp cord with a very high quality cord that I use on my $1000.00 Fender 6 string guitar. Still the same hum. I checked the amp and ruled that out since there was no hum present when my guitar was plugged in. So bottom line, I ended up returning the Ukulele for a refund. I was really hoping this little axe would work out especially for the price. But unfortunately you get what you pay for and missing the mark on the all important internal electronic components, combined with cheap strings and gig bag resulted in a return.
