Avoid buying the VTech baby monitor

It has a lot of great features built-in, which I enjoyed. Fast forward four weeks later, and now I have issues with the system. The monitor will connect to the camera briefly and then cut out and say the monitor is out of range. I've tried everything from resetting the camera, monitor, and using the wifi feature. All results lead to a disconnection between the monitor and the camera. I can have the two in the same room feet apart, and within 5 minutes, it will disconnect and tell me the monitor is out of range from the camera. Of course, it all started after the return window closed, so now Im stuck with a useless device. I would not recommend this product to anyone in the market for a baby monitor.
